Any recommended lenses for my Nikon D90 for shooting figures/toys?

Thinking of the Macro 40mm f/2.8 but need to get really close up and potentially blocking out some lighting for my subject.

you can always buy a cheap meike or yongnuo LED ring flash for RM100+.
but for under rm1k, i prefer the 40mm over the older tamron SP90 cos better colors...
also can look for the older 60mm AF-D if u want abit more working distance.
