if you can afford it.... i agree with miao...93 would be the preferred option... at least there is already 10 speed and you won't get stuck if you want to play around with gearing ratios on the bike...

yes, but generally we try to stay away from those... but it all depends what you want to do with it...

the main reason is that bikes that cheap will be skimping on components and you will more frequently than not find the low graded components failing and you might and i do say might spend more money repairing the bike than ride it if you plan to use it for long term...

3k if you want to include the basic accessories like helmets and gloves...would get you a very decent 10-speed hardtail with hydraulic disc and most probably an entry level fork with remote lockout i guess...but it all depends on the brand as well.. you might need to go browse around and see what suits you more...

andy would be in.. whether or not he is a sand bagger or a truely sissy... we will know in a month's time...

it'll be fun to watch dauphine though because it will be a tour de france preview between froome and alberto..
