BTW, I remember that mission in Tiberian Sun, also In Renegade about the crash spaceship. BTW in this case I wonder if they will make the Scrin very powerful, compare to NOD and GDI. Unless they make Scrin as the non-playable last "boss" faction... (then who's gonna be 3rd force!??!?)

I never notice this before. However I notice Prism tank very effective against building, but not that powerful aginst tanks, espeacially those heavy armoured like Apocolypse tank. (For elite Apocolypse tank, 1 shot 1 kill to all other tank!!!)

I hope they make the air unit better tis time, in tiberian sun you can only reload your aircraft one by one in each air field, coz each airfield can only fill 1 aircraft.... Last time I spend a lot to prepare my mass Banshee rush, then my friend 1 clustle missle come all my Banshee gone... sad.gif (I only got 2 air field and got 10+ Banshee, I load them one by one....)

Actually, every C&C game up until Generals has a unit cap... Its a pretty high number, so it was unlikely that anyone would hit it (In RA, it was 20 Tesla Coils IIRC) and its role was to stop a player from congesting the game engine rather than affect overall gameplay.

The unit cap system was always meant as a sort of limiter to curb rushes. Warcraft-esque games needed this as every unit production building built units independent of one another, so with enough barracks, you could churn out tonnes of units every second.

C&C sort of had a passive way of handling this... By unifying production of all units. So, the more barracks, war factories and airfields you built, it only affects the build speed and thus, a "natural" counter to uber rushing.

Maybe it was just that the devs were lazy to make each building build independently, or didn't want to complicate the menu, but damn, its a pretty interesting feature of the C&C games, looking back.

During my last time, whole LAN (about 6 PCs) lag for 2-3 seconds because of my 9 demo trucks exploded in chain-rule. Killing mostly of my freinds/allies' units. It was a huge battle at that time.

Because 100+ Conscripts plus 30+ heavy tanks, 20 dogs, few engineers, 30+ flak traks, and few others destroyed at the same time.

20 prism tanks only on 1 civillian building... lagged like mad...

Hm...I wonder if it's due to mass unit or jsut Prism tank only? Last time I built 20++ Kirov Airship and bombard the ebey base together, seems no problem at all...

The locomotor (kind of function in the Red Alert 2 game engine) used are many for Prism tank attack. Hard for me to explain. Well, I was a modder for Red Alert 2. I made a small mod of RA2 call RA2 Invasion long time ago. Maybe not any of you know about it.

Well, creativity and innovation is what paves the way for RTS games but there's still a big difference from making a game that spires with innovation and creating a RTS games that mimics the old tech...

As i was saying EA will somehow not be able to live to the Westwood saga with the manner they have created RTS games. They are missing a certain key element.

I love Tiberium Dawn & Red Alert 1 single player campaign and the original soundtrak.

the Red Alert2 and Tiberuim Sun are Shits.. i hate em..

reason because i dont like super high tech weaponry. Except for dawn of war. lol

to me C&C tiberium dawn held a special place in my head since it was the very very first RTS I ever laid eyes on. The whole concept of controlling an army just blew me away since I was RTS virgin at that time. laugh.gif

Then I saw it in action at Compuzone One Utama.... (now that shop closed down), taken over by some kinda restaurant. Had many first glimpses of games there, I played my very first game of quake there, first tasted w95's start button, diablo 1, XD
