yes. you just need the upgrade kit and flash your BIOS with the graphics card that you are upgrading to.

Okay, this may seem like a very dumb question too, but can I upgrade the CPU and is it worth it?
And where may I buy the GPU and the CPU from if I am able to replace it?

Sorry for the silly questions but I don't game on my laptop at all, I use it for audio purposes but the reason why I want to upgrade it it that I might wanna start playing some games on it soon.

bro, if u got money, i suggest u to sell your alienware and buy a new haswell laptop coming soon equip with AMD 8990 or GTX780, u can take a look on illegear laptop as they are more accessible, and can upgrade cpu and gpu too. btw im not a reseller..lol

But the Alienware on the Illigear website, where do they get it from and how does it work? Because the sepcs that they offer for the M17 is not even available as an option on the Alienware US website, such as the Intel Extreme Processors and the GTX680 4GB.
