oh ok smile.gif how do you keep the temperature way below 45c? that reading really beats our 17" and 100W heatsink all the way :/

edit: geforce new driver, 331.82

from what i have read, 65c to 75c is when the fan kicks in. (imo your gpu is fine; my r4's fan will go at full speed when the temperature is high enough, too).

if you wanna ask tech support to come look, i think what mansooriqbal suggested make sense.

Bro even if you're not happy you just call them. It is Dell MY policy.. they wont ask you questions... they will just send a guy over with replacement parts that is if they have stock or they will update you when you have stock and then they will send over technician. So with no cost your fan + heaksink + thermal will be replaced. Btw DO inform them to send thermal stickers for ur CPU or GPU too. In my case they didnt send it so I called them and explained them thoroughly what was missing then they send over new heak sinks again new fans again n thermal pads too biggrin.gif

Alienware imo is the most premium gaming laptop.. for which dell has been appointed... why? because for premium after sales smile.gif... so don't you worry! all ur problems will be solved as you have warranty (y)
