Yes, that's Nokia's aim, to come out with a slimmer & lighter package, hence the switch back to alluminium. But still no concrete news, just a leaked photo which doesn't really look nice also.

Got back my L920, they changed everything in my L920.
Everything changed except for the digitizer.

well, set up everything and found out a bug with WP8's built in facebook chat.

seems to show very little online contacts.

example:
My phone shows only 5 online contacts.
Go into IE and check, 40+ people online mad.gif

Facebook online chat is not reliable when I checked last time. Sometime cannot even connect to server. I only use Facebook web / 3rd party app now.

Does the rest of issues solved ?

just bought new transparent casing from dhui in lyn

it's normal transparent hard plastic casing ..i buy it because i want to show off my lumia color

overall the casing is quite solid and good quality ..RM15 exclude postage

yup, rest of the issues solved, nokia changed everything(if im not mistaken), including the outer case, had some hard and deep scratches and they changed it as well, only digitizer didnt change.

now phone not so hot edi, and wifi antenna super strong

I hardly see hard transparent casing lately, it was very popular back in the 2004-2008 era

I used it before on my N8; 1 single drop and it breaks, at least the phone is protected.

Finally updated my phone to Portico via OTA. I didnt even realise OTA is already available (When ppl were cursing Nokia M'sia, and updated it themselves via NSU) until my friend, a 820 user, told me he is downloading an update which has a big file size for his phone earlier.

Took me quite a few hours.. Complete success, no issues so far. Firmware number:

1232.5951.1249.1007

I didnt notice any storage chart (you know, the pie chart thing), or that one comes in the 1307/1308 firmware? The Lumia Storage Check beta app also couldnt retrieve anything. Probably needs a newer firmware.

check for update again.. it should have another update to 1308 with the storage check as well....
