Sorry but I don't really understand the bolded part. For the warranty if I buy from nokia store or lowyat seller both have to bring to service centre, so it's the same correct? If big problem like faulty unit or battery change I go where?
*
lowyat seller usually sells both AVAXX and ZITRON set.
If you have a faulty device, you can send it to any nearby Nokia Care service centre.
You could check for the nearest one around you through the link below.

well, just send my NL920 to Nokia care two days ago, with the following issues.
1. Really weak WIFI antenna
2. Battery dying real fast
3. Top+side of phone heating up badly, (like can burn your hand)
4. Dust going into speaker

I guess if I dont get back my phone 5 days after i send in, im demanding a new phone vmad.gif

Wish you best of luck. Nokia doesn't have policy for 1 to 1 swap sadly. I got my phone back from Nokia Care after around 1 1/2 week. I had issue with either accelerometer or gyroscope. But it was not a smooth service, they kept insisting it's a software issue, updated it then sent it back to the Nokia shop I bought it from. Yet problem recurs just after simply using it for around an hour. Thank goodness the shop helped me to test, else would have wasted my time a lot to take, then have to return back to the shop. This got repeated 3 times, making me wonder if the ppl working in Nokia Care are humans or monkeys. On 4th return to Nokia Care, they changed the camera. But that didn't solve the issue also. Finally on the 5th return to Nokia Care, they changed the main board.  shakehead.gif

i talked to a guy in nokia careline(online chat thingy) about the replacement model if my phone is taking very long to repair.
He said only the technician will tell you whether your phone is liable to have a 1 to 1 swap. He gave me a phone number(for the Mobile Technic Sdn.Bhd ==) as well to call if it's taking too long blink.gif

it seems like it took you hell of a trouble! Hoping for the best for my phone.... hmm.gif

not yet.. been using it only for 6 days.. regarding the wifi issue, i also did try putting it just beside my router, still couldn't detect the wifi but after a very helpful suggestion from friends here, i change the channel in my router, now it works like charm.. well, so far that is..
*
nah mine isnt about the channel issue, it detects without problem when near, but when 5-6 feet, it disconnects because the wifi is too low already, the problem is with the poor wifi antenna... really disappointed vmad.gif

For me it could detect the free Penang Wifi outside ,my house and connect tgo it without problem, that's like, at least 5 meters away (probably a lot further) from my position, but wifi router at home within 2 meter range cannot connect. the channel issue.  doh.gif

It happens quite often for my case. Thats why i tend to prefer to plug LAN cable into my laptop, and activate virtual router from my laptop; my Lumia never fails to connect to the virtual router's wifi from my laptop.

My phone can detect even those wifi from the opposite house across the road (though signal is only low to average of course) and connect to public ones like Penang free Wifi, and yet has trouble connecting to 2 of my routers - one is Dlink, one is an ASUS N-type. It keeps giving me wrong password as a reason but im sure it is right. Then the next moment it works again and connects.
*
but i compared with my htc mozart and also a samsung galaxy W...
both phones at the same distance can connect with no problem, while my NL920 cuts off.
the both phones i tested can also reach my neighbor's wifi but once again my NL920 couldnt.
all with the same router same settings yawn.gif

Got back my L920, they changed everything in my L920.
Everything changed except for the digitizer.

well, set up everything and found out a bug with WP8's built in facebook chat.

seems to show very little online contacts.

example:
My phone shows only 5 online contacts.
Go into IE and check, 40+ people online mad.gif

Facebook online chat is not reliable when I checked last time. Sometime cannot even connect to server. I only use Facebook web / 3rd party app now.

Does the rest of issues solved ?
*
yup, rest of the issues solved, nokia changed everything(if im not mistaken), including the outer case, had some hard and deep scratches and they changed it as well, only digitizer didnt change.

now phone not so hot edi, and wifi antenna super strong flex.gif

That's great news!!!  rclxms.gif

The WiFi antenna is in the outer case itself so most likely that's why they replaced it.
haha i guess im really lucky then
loving my phone now wub.gif
