Why not if you are in the areas of coverage?
The download speeds is at least 10x faster
Even I go to KL once a month I appreciate it very much especially in those areas that has LTE
You wont realized how fast it is until you have experienced it
*
I am in the coverage area but for me H+ is good enough. no? I dont know about most people but I assume most of us use whatsapp, fb, twitter, youtube, candy crush? lol.. And i assume most of us dont dl big data file? Watching youtube on H doesnt give me any pause moment at all so that why i'm asking this. (prefer WIFI to be faster, my mum housing area dont hv maxis fiber internet and phone only get G, dafuq)

I'm just curious anyway. Nothing much. biggrin.gif

To be honest..I find watching Youtube and web browsing on Digi's H speeds is acceptable..and like jonrwg say..youtube loads seamlessly with Mobile HD quality

Web browsing is acceptable for me with multiple tabs when browsing at LYN Mobile..

I guess the non-LTE version is my choice? Anyone can talk me out and wait for the LTE version? laugh.gif

Different people have different needs and wants

Some content with theirs, some are not

Non LTE or LTE enable is a choice that people can easily opt out

For me, always buy international version to get good developer support

But do we malaysians really need LTE? (For now).

Im within coverage 24/7, once I ve 'tasted' the speed, quite impossible for me to get a non LTE phone ( using Xperia Z at the moment) ..its like going back to dialup modem after having broadband

bad news. Stock is super limited. I bet there is no retailer will sell below 2199.

pricing for our dealer is just revealed.

Rm2200+bundle dead device(ativ/grand/wave 3 and etc) so u will see most retailer selling over rrp.

if u want buy with RRP and below. Have to look for telcos for this week.

second batch of stock ( plenty units) next friday.

for me non-LTE atm. dont give me any "wow" factor yet. I'll wait till the tech is fully develop in msia. Probably 2 years time.

Tested on my fren iP5. Maybe my needs is diff than others. I think this situation quite similar when i'm in UK using 100mbs WIFI and 10mbs Wifi in Msia. 10mbs speed still acceptable, not that slow not that fast. doenst make me go crazy i'm ok with it. LOL...

Well you don't "need" it, but if you spend lots of time in LTE enabled areas, why not?
I don't need fiber optics, but I want them to make all my internet needs better haha XD
It'll depend on quality of the network and back-haul as well. Where I am, the HSPA+ network is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of latency, stability and average speed of any 3G network I've used in Malaysia even though they use the same technology. Well with the infancy of LTE in Malaysia, I don't really have very high expectations anyway, though hopefully with lesser amounts of people using LTE, better speeds and latency is easily achievable. I like future proofing devices anyway. I sometimes tether my phone to my laptop as well.

If you feel that HSPA+ is good enough for you, then go right ahead =)

You should note that the international i9505 is the model of the S4 that is likely to receive the most developer support while the international i9500 would be a bit behind most probably.

A lot of developers on xda prefers the snapdragon processor with qualcomm constantly releasing updated drivers etc. while Samsung is very slow and likes to take their time with exynos. Plus a lot of major markets like US, Canada, UK, Aussie, NZ, a number of EU countries etc. is receiving only the i9505. Majority of the galaxy S4 on a global scale for at least the first few months will be the i9505.
