woah aimst dentistry is very good!
from what I know, braces, filling, & etc. are free for students there, how about for the public? is it also free for the public?
*
braces is actually RM400 ... even students have to pay tht amount.

filling, scaling, crown, bridge, dentures, root canal treatments...all free. smile.gif

We now have a total of over 4500 patients.. the last time i checked the records was almost a month ago? Maybe now would have shot over 5000 registered patients so far. smile.gif

Come for a check-up anytime at our dental hospital and you will be placed in a waiting list and just wait it out till a student calls you for an appointment. smile.gif

Tomorrow is my last day in dentistry. The last day of my five years here.

During dinner we were saying that most of us have given treatments up to RM10k by now..

Crowns can be Rm1000..Root canal treatment Rm1000-RM2000++..Wisdom tooth extractions...smile.gif $$$$$$$$$$$

No problem. smile.gif I'll try to answer as much as I can!

haha.... thanks but too early to congratulate me. I still have to go through four exam components and feel scared while waiting for the results. smile.gif

We already had our interview by the kementerian and sent in our choices for the postings. Fingers crossed!

correct me if im wrong
*
No prob...i told u the good thing oni.....so far, there is nothing bad to talk about the dentistry

Im not sure about the price comparisons.....For what I know, it's quite expensive....(pidc is cheaper than AIMST)
It's expensive because the services in the hospital is free....so they need to find some money for that...
All I know is it has quality to talk about..

I wish you all the best then! wish you will get where you wanted to be ^^

to ex-foundation students, I would like to ask, how did you get your foundation results? aimst post it to your house? how long will it take? because I really need my result, just in case I can't get the course I wanted >.<

btw, will they inform you what course you are eligible for? do they inform you or they don't inform you at all?

Hahaha..finally got chance to use these photos. Here are some pics of me and my batch mates watching cheerleading videos on youtube at an isolated grassy corner on campus, practicing for the ADSALympics Cheerleading event. ADSAlympics is an annual intense sports week by the dental faculty.

the videos load faster than streamyx!

I'm using Maxis Broadband Advanced Lite Youth or something like that. Cost about Rm48. But i think the promotion is better now. Rm48 regardless of whether you are youth or a gov servant, and then plus one free modem.
