Math A+
Bio B+
Phy A+
Chem A+
Eng F ( MUET - band 4)

Bio + Phy + Chem = 244
Bio + Phy + Math  = 247

Which combination i shud use to enrol into MBBS?
This result can compete wit others?

Hmm , i heard that students from AIMST are required to have at least an A in Biology and 2 B on the other subjects to be applicable to apply for MBBS ?

Anyone could clarify this matter ?

Grades A, B, B including Biology and 2 of the following subjects: Chemistry, Maths or Physics and with a minimum total of 215 marks.
Biology not necessary A.

i'm going to start its foundation in may..hopefully i can pass it and study medic..can anyone tell me the latest info about aimst?is it their lecturers are lousy and good lecturers are all gone?
and how if I can't study mbbs due to limited seats?
*
It is a very subjective topic, but from my experience yeah, quality of lecturers are deteriorating.

And if you do not have confident to score above par and enter medicine in AIMST, i would suggest you not to attempt the foundation programme. You should've worked hard if you're aiming for the seats. Just IMHO.

You do not need to combine it yourself, the exam division will do that for you. And of course they will take the combination with highest marks. Competition in your batch depends on a quota which is not determined by you. Anyhow, if it was my time you'll definitely already been offered a place. I believe 247 is a stable result, it still depends on how well your batchmates/seniors/juniors do.

Try Manipal. That's my advice. MAHSA clinical school is not yet established.

Manipal has a strong team of faculty members in both pre-clinicals and clinicals, also their curriculum is much better in my opinion.

UCSI i have no idea, haven't heard from anyone about the school. MAHSA's medicine on the other hand is very very new, which if you decide to go there, it's better to stay in AIMST.

I'm sure about the price increase on AIMST MBBS course, which is now RM250k tuition fees only. An increase of 30k. It's from the finance division, which will commence next intake onwards.

Anyways, AIMST is also following the trend. Since they already have 6 batches who has graduated and our first batch will be entering MO-ship in 1-2 months time.

Can I know what's the main reason of raising the fees ? 220k to 260k is quite a big sum of money.

Probably they thought their school is already well established, since 6 batches have came out. This phenomenon happens to every medical school in fact, especially after their programme got recognised by MMC. 250k is still the cheapest RECOGNISED local private medical school anyways.

Omg..when i entered in 2005 it was 210k... shit. Gonna hit 300k in another few years.

But with the free dental treatments that we are providing for the local people.... the dental faculty is indeed a really expensive course to run! wink.gif
