have to memorise every thing about drugs, their components, how they work, consequences of overdose, contraindication, dossage etc...thousands of them u know!

does aimst offer any scholarship for stpm students wanting to pursue medicine there?

I don't think so, they only have scholarships for SPM leavers who wants to pursue their foundation programme, if I'm not mistaken.

Pharmacology. Haha. It's okay actually, depends on how you study it. Therapeutic uses, side effects, contraindications and mechanism of actions are superly important though. Dosages and route of administration when you come to clinics. Anyhow, constant studying is what you need throughout your medical courses. No matter what subject it is, clinicals subjects are not easy too. That's one good advice i could give, if you don't wanna fail terribly.

Ps. I hate antibiotics though, the freggin names and their freggin uses. OVERLOADED.

Haha. Looks big, but in real it's very small. The compound is big, but there're only a few buildings. You'll get used to it in another 2 more days, trust me.

Trust me, antibiotic is the only group of drug you need to know by heart. Also know a something about diuretics diabetic medications, dun have to memorize the mechanism of action though. This will come in handy during clinics.

Really? But it seems that so many antibiotics has the same uses against the same bacterias, any easier way to memorize it? Pneumonics? And yeahh, it seems that the CVS drugs are also quite important (Hypertensives, heart failure managements etc). MOA is important for exam here though. Anyhow, thanks for the advice senior!
