why u want apply for 2 when u can choose the combo pair card?

combo pair cards means only 1 GST charged for both card and waived on annual fee for 1st years with rm50 cash rebate as welcome gift. No bad. I just took the wise plat + gsc plat.

swipe rm800 in 60 days for the free fan is kacang for me.

With the cards, u still eligible to rum for the "win them all" campaign.

wait wait wait... after reading so much and still not sure how this HLB combo works. So basically its 2 Card under ONE Account just like Maybank2Card? I already have MBB2Card.

from the FAQs, my understanding is card holder need to sweep >RM50 x 10 = RM500 to activate the cash back.
If you sweep with big amount maybe total RM10,000 for 9x; Perhaps no cash back activate, thus no any cash back earn.

i prefer use back the Maybank 2 card + OCBC Titanium

I believe one must not confuse mbb2card with this HLB promo.

Note that it's just asking you to apply for 2 cards, then RM50 cash back with annual fee waived on 1st year. In another way of looking at it, you are applying for 2 cards, pay GST for one card, and get a free fan.

Net Gain = Value of Fan - RM50 = depending on how you value this fan, at least it's guaranteed gift if you fulfill the conditions

Or you can just apply for one card, and not get a free fan and still get RM50 cash back provided you fulfill the conditions.

Please take note you cannot cancel just one card if you apply for combo card. So basically you have to pay gst for both cards next year which is rm100

pair card keh combo card keh, u only have to bear 1 GST. The bank will absorb the other part of GST. That is the pair cards for. If you going to pay for rm100 GST, then what is the use of pair cards? To thicken ur wallet?

The CS is very wrong.... it's based on the Calendar Month and Rebate paid according to Calendar Month, every 28th

jkngo2003 Do you earn 10% cash back when you use wise cc on the upper floor (departmental store) of ngiu kee & everrise? (I'm assuming that you have opted groceries as one of your cash back category).

Yes, and it is not based on transaction date but on posting date which is normally 2 to 3 days later.

take care on the departmental store. sorry, i never go to departmental store at supermarket like ngiu kee & everrise. normally i go parkson and sibu priemer for departmental store and use maybank amex to pay it. it will be entitled 5 percent and 5x point.

dont choose departmental store category, i use at medan mall supermarket departmental store once and it didnt get rebate under groccery. i call cs and it mention it is under departmental store. even i choose departmental store category, it oso no use. departmental store category onli for big company like jusco , parkson and so on, not rebate according merchant code.

So, wise person use the wise card. in sarawak, the best category is petrol and groccery plus mobile. you can buy at any supermarket which accept credit card, pump petrol at automated petrol pump to get rebate. for mobile, i use digi line, i pay bill and reload my prepaid line at digi website before and get 10 percent rebate. if you buy the phone at digi website, u will get 10 percent rebate oso.

hope this info can help all sarawakian.

Nope, I didn't choose departmental. Instead, mine are petrol & groceries icon_rolleyes.gif Was just curious if I swipe at the upper floor of ngiu kee & medan mall's everrise will be entitled for the cash back or not. So, now I know...thanks for the reply rclxms.gif
