I have just received my new Hong Leong Card and wanted to purchase the Ipad Mini promo RM655.00. It stated that I should receive a SMS with a unique log in ID and password to be used for purchasing in the Hong Leong Connect. Until to date, I have not receive that SMS.

Did anyone new credit card holder apply and purchased the Ipad Mini from Hong Leong Connect? Please share how and what need to do to purchase the Ipad Mini?

Thanks

I think it the iPAD is not a guarantee purchase right ? There is a limit of 300 units up for grab if I'm not mistaken.

The terms stated "Eligible New Card holder will be issued unique Password......". So "Eligible" means qualified based on the criteria as new application and not by selection or random pick. There is 100 unit per week for 6 weeks and based on first come first served.

If Hong Leong customer service says selection or random pick, then they have tricked alot of new applicant. If this is the case better don't offer the mini Ipad as the selected credit card holder need to fork out money to purchase it. Another super "trick" by Hong Leong.

"Eligible", "100units/week" and "first come first served" are pretty clear indications that the offer to purchase iPad mini at RM655 is not a guaranteed offer. Better call HLB to confirm your eligibility.

EasyPay listed as mobile category in my may statement. So it should be getting CB.

i have just collected wise card from hlb branch under groupon compaign.
When i call to activate the card, I confirm the groupon gifts and cb categories. I was informed by the CS that AEON (including SUPERMARKET) is categorized under Departmental. For groceries, it is only AEON BIG.
Any Sifu can verify this statement?

First time maximize the cash rebate, feels good.

This card is good but does really makes you feel like going for groceries every week and pump half tank every time. Sometimes get the looks why this fella so fast filled up.

Still haven't own a credit card yet ?

My question is... When we buy the voucher, can we swipe our Aeon Member card? Meaning:-

Buy Rm50 voucher = Collect member points
Spend RM50 vooucher = Collect member points

member points x2?

My selection is Utilities, Petrol and Mobile.

I'm not able to hit the max CB so with my TNB bills which is steadily at around RM200, i can reach RM800+ usage per month.

I do my grocery annually whenever there is a 20-30% CB offer So not much of a point to select grocery in my category.

Just need to know what is the correct mechanism to pay my TNB bills.
