What to do... HTC has no $$$ to pay Nokia's licensing fees... anyway, early batches will probably still have the HD mic since HTC will finish up its inventory before moving to the alternate.

i doubt so since the cam just 4mp. low res = small file size.
if you really feel you need more storage, just pick a USB-to-go. It will work like a charm

imagine following scenario:
- u got the first badge of HTC One in malaysia. and u found the gap.
- u requested for an exchange.

**there u go 1 set of phone with good HDR sound chip.
- u got a new nice phone.

imagine first badge 500 phones. unluckily estimates, 10% of them having bad gap issue and being requested for exchange....
50 good HDR sound duuup... *drop into water*...




oh, and it did not count on worse scenario, exchange ones having same gap issue...

I'd rather wait than getting any Sony phone, as even my previous Sony XPeria S still not getting the Jelly Bean update. No matter what people say about S4 and HTC One; both are the reviewers first choice, and their processor, screen quality are much better than the so called XPERIA Z
