13MP doesn't mean it is better. If you look at the Xperia Z camera samples it actually looks worse than my HTC One X photos. I think it depends on what are your needs. If uploading to FB is your main concern I think either one will suffice

Might wanna trade off my htc butterfly for htc one. Not sure how much would the butterfly fetch, about 1 month old only

just wait the demo unit come out and test yourself. that's all.

S4 mediocre sound, may I know your source? Htc boom is only loud not better quality. S4 using Wolfson chip whose audio I think  is better than HTC one

Bought for my brother. I am not user . So no reviews from me. Design not really that  fantastic I would say as so over exaggerated by other's.  That is my opinion only. Maybe i have poor taste. One thing for sure the body aint going to be scratch proof

Temperature heats up fast ; just using it more than 15 mins on 3G browsing, I see 38 to 40 degree C. It is comparable to Xperia Z and much higher than , say Note 2 ( average 32-35 max). You can easily feel the warmness in your palms

So far based on all those reported at XDA , I don't have those reported issues
Again I'd say buying such stuffs sometimes depends on luck. Not everyone is so "suay" to get problematic unit
Even later batchs does not guarantee a problem/defect free - it makes only one more confident that later batches are often better

I was unable to find how to disable it. Tried googling and seems no solution. It was easy in Butterfly - in settings/display/gestures  I just choose the recent button as menu and hold down for recent and the 3 dot menu will disappear. But no such option in the HTC one. Went through all the menus in settings, just couldn't find it
I'd like to know too how to disabled it as it auto reduced display size to about 4.5 inch for many of the older apps;  even latest Facebook version is affected too
