Looks like htc really loosing sales due the manufacturing delay. If it was here, I would be holding one in my hands by now.

just saw some one put on the banner about this phone on small billboard at Alamanda (near the maxis outlet)

just now go to bukit indah aeon senq branch order one, but the staff say the system don have this phone yet, cant take order..wtf...if not get ready, why make announcement first??

Apparently Senheng only has Silver model in system.  Went and pre-order black model but couldn't find in system.  In the end, purchase order write Silver but they'll try change to black once available.

Looks like next week stock is only for silver :'(

thru senheng online? did u hav to pay full for it?

latest info i get from my fren, senq or senheng kl will distribute out their stock on the 30 april to their logistic..so by late afternoon, the logistic should be able to receive their stock..but now cant confirm is kl logistic or all the branch area's as they din mention it in their notice.... let's say if kl logistic, all other branch throughout msia should be received the stock within 1-3 days later... but this also depend on the stock lo..hopefully htc don delay it ...my place senq and senheng will receive total 10 units of silver..black unit will only available after 3 weeks times...like i say, this also depend if there is no delay.. so take it as piece of salt first..later hope too big, disappointment bigger also..

Well, Power Amp does have an EQ so you can sort of "fake" the gain a little bit by adjusting the Preamp.
Though that wouldn't help much at all because the limitation of the S4 is that it simply just doesn't supply enough current to 50ohms headphone.

I was testing it with a Sennheiser HD558, which are known to be very easy to drive but fluctuates a lot. I get distortion on low frequencies, which I didn't quite like either due to the high output impedence on the S4.

I have Power Amp and Winamp as my main usage for music players. The One's stock player is pretty decent for what it is, just lacking the option to adjust EQ. Otherwise it is fine for what it is if you want all your music to be flat.

As for the Note 2, I do have one lying around but haven't tested with it yet on anything higher than the standard 32~36ohm headphones. But the Note 2 does indeed come with a Wolfson DAC (pretty good quality DAC btw) and will complement the Phonaks 232 pretty well assuming it can drive them — which I think they should.
