wondering how is this game for 3ds? honestly never tried monster hunter series before but from what i see in this thread looks awesome...as i know 3ds do not support online play but only adhoc...problem is i heard this game needs partner to play instead of solo...

this game is completely solo-able. in fact, you'd be a much better hunter if you solo all the way through G Rank. having said that, the game is much much more fun playing with a bunch of hunters. if you have no friend hunters - fret not, MHMG holds weekly meet-ups to hunt together-gether

With CCP, this game control is better than PSP.What i love about monster hunter is that it is not base on Level. It is base on playing style (weapon) and skills on controlling your character. You can solo but it will be harder. This is a great game to play with friends or players. The game is divided into solo (village quest) and multiplayer (tavern) Come join the Hunter side.. ;p |

the tavern is solo-able (in case you think that you can't access quests there alone)

if i am not mistaken, i saw Events in MHMG for Penang and Ipoh. do check out the FB Group. link on second post.
edit : mh4 is coming out for 3DS, confirmed for JP only at the moment. if it's your first MH game, just pick up MH3U, don't wait for MH4 This post has been edited by juwels: May 29 2013, 01:54 PM |

Solo might be a bit boring due to you playing alone. Requires more skills and is basically a good way to train yourself before playing with everyone else. You can go online if you have a Wii with the help of an app. If not you could always ad-hoc with the other gathering members. You could also get a Wii U to play online if you have the extra $$$ |
