New hunter here too (3DS). Just got my game on Saturday and now at 4 star village quest.
I'm base at Kota Kemuning. Any Shah Alam or Klang hunter?

Seen like closest is Subang or Puchong.
Sorry if i'm asking a repeated question. I"m new to 3DS and WiiU.
Understand that for 3DS to play online, must have WiiU as adhoc..
How to we connect to the WiiU?

At first i though 3DS can play online if 1 of the player has WiiU as "host" but it seen like your 3DS must link to your WiiU only can play online.
Why not just play online straigh with WiiU?

I just started playing and now in 4 * quest.
Just created a Bone amour set for gunner.
Plan to play support with horns and capture indicate when multi player with my friend who is also just starting to play.

But is horn & bone armor set really useful in multi player?

Still in HR1 but the quest already killing me..
Yet so many people is at high HR.
Seen like really need to farm and focus on armor.

Village quest also killing me too >_<
Fainted 2 times only kill Lagiacrus (urgent quest)
Still not use to water battle.

Do feel that 3D view ease me to know the distance with the monsters.
When playing on 2D view, keep hitting air..

Same here. Just got the game and now in the 30 hours.
Try watch some tutorial video for weapon. I too watch a few on GS only i start mastering it.

HH do look great for me..
The voltage Verve weapon (event) looks cool but don't know until when only will able to get it.

For capturing, i always capture them when they are sleeping for 100% confirm catch.
But when they start to limp and move to other area = catch-able edi?

I always do that.
Set trap beside them when they are sleeping. Shock them awake and throw the red bomb.
But sometime its mafan if they rest at area 8 and i already weaken them at area 4.
They need to limp a few area only reach they sleeping place and kinda accidently kill them.

Capturing monster always have more loot than killing them?

1 trap and 2 tranquilizer..
And after battling for almost 30 minute, the monster finally go to sleep.
Trap and throw the tranquilizer... and miss the second throw... DAMN!

I do remember watching a video, he trap and throw 2 tran but still didn't fall asleep. he than hit a few more time and they monster sleep.
Maybe just need to weaken it a little more to capture.

For hunt quest, you can kill or capture them.
I always capture to finish the quest quicker and also prevent from fainting on the last battle.
Some time last battle can be a few additional minutes.

Tried to use hammer but kena KO gao gao.
Not use to the distance and attack pattern.
Hard to switch from GS to Hammer

So the the only 1 event quest that is very good for low level is the egg quest. Collecting 3 wyvner eggs.
Need the voucher to upgrade weapons.

Pokemon White 100++ hour in a duration of 3~4 months.
MH3U 60 hours in a duration of 2 weeks..

Almost everyday nonstop MH 2~3 hours minimum..
Addicted to em...

I think that is the armor skill.
Capture Guru skill that will let the painted monster blink blink when able to capture.
Quite a good skill for beginner to learn how to see if monster is weak enough to capture.

2 new weapons. Both seen very nice.
Sword and shield may be my new favorite weapon.

Seen like MH4 have more flexibility and the new jump.
The action will be more.

5th run and still fail as well.
3 time times out before reaching area 3.
Even reach area 3 also not able to repel..
Best run is destroy 1 horn and beard..
Seen like need to go high rank quest to upgrade weapons before finish quest.

Using Lagiacrus Blade with Gobul armor set and +3 expert.
Now trying HR3 and great woggi also kicking my arse edi... T_T

Been away from LYF a while. Thanks for the feedback.
My playing style is more of avoid attack then only hit.. without charging.
More of a continue combo of side slash and upper slash until the monster attack and i need to roll away to avoid.
Will try charge and attack.. even for level 1 to see the effect.
Trying to learn the charged attack and hit em when the monster charging towards me.
Now trying to make a diablo armor set but lack only 1 majestic horn which very rare... 8% drop rate T_T
Most of the time i solo as my timing can't match up with my fren that is playing it as well.
