@ fyi the rest, you can actually block ala's fireballs (yes the HUGE one) iinm with guard up. coupled with guard +2 it doesn't do much damage. at least that was what i remembered... fought him once only (with gunlance).
fight is actually quite routine methinks - enter, pop smoke bomb, drink cold pot, run and climb up wall, wait for him to stupidly cucuk wall, place bombs, kick bombs, pelanting, run to balista binder area, turtle, shoot binder, put remaining bombs at head, kick bombs, pelanting, turtle, shoot binder, smack him until he gets up, turtle... he died around the 25th minute mark on my run. He does do a whole load of damage so might want to bring more mats for mega pots.

and his icicle from langit tipu one, sometimes even if you are blocking you get hit, supposedly it lands on your head bah.

narga gunner has evasion blah blah blah but no recoil reduction, which is very hard to gem in.

firing level 3 shots without recoil reduction susah kot.

narga gunner good for ppl who are trying to get comfortable with gunning, since got evasion +2, evasion distance, sneak. once comfy with bow/lbg/hbg then can start specialising

I use a lot of evasion looks like a good armor for me.
I use a lot of evasion for my other armors as well.

I just wanna know this is really noob though.. as in how do you use gem's on armor? Like not the one from jewels right?

By the way, jaggi armor the best. Been using it for fighting rathalos and still no prob.

Already unlock high rank village quest. Revert to Jaggi armor S from rathalos armor.

Doesn't help that much cuz I know everything he was talking alread

Such as rathalos is weak to dragon and electric right? which is better? elemental or affinity that give more damage?

i'm not a big fan of affinity. i prefer good old fashioned raw damage and elemental damage.

Raw damage are the best imo. Some elemental here and there of course.

Just got myself a 3DS XL and MH3U.
About 30 hours in but still doing low level 3 star stuff. Really hard game to master with so many things going on. After like 20 hours ive finally settled with HH as a weapon. Just killed Qurupeco after a few fails.
Really dont know how ppl play in G rank.

Since you are playing on 3DS do you have a Circle pad pro to help you out? If you don't no wonder hard la..
First time play takes a bit of time to learn. Timing is very important, later everything not really that hard, just need to have good mates to help you out on guild quest.

Actually i have the circle pad pro. Bought the 3DS for this game alone lolz. I know i suck at this game.
Main strategy is run in n hit as many times as i can. Cant get used to sheathing me weapon.

Can play multiplayer online? I thought 3DS cant.
Also do you guys use full set armors or mix it up?

Actually quite sad that the HH does not look cooler like lances or hammers
Previously using hammer but then the HH range and arc of the left n right hits are amazing!
