For a week, i always wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall asleep back. In average, everyday i only sleep for 3-4 hour. Any suggestion on when & where can i get assistance from? Am i suppose to go to klinik kesihatan first to ask for referral letter?

For me it was the same like you guys before :

1. Had my meals late (after 9pm)
2. Smoked before
3. HAd acid reflux problems resulting in sleep apnea (this is a serious health problem)

Made the following changes

1. Earlier meals - before 8pm -(need at least 3 hours for food to digest. If heavier meal, then I take a digestive enzyme.
2. Multivitamins which must include calcium, magnesium, vitamin B complex
3. Bovine colostrum to heal my stomach linings (this solved my acid reflux and sleep apnea)
4. Trying to go to sleep before 11pm and keep activities at a bare minimal at least 2 hours before bedtime.

Try a simple trick first, take a Panadol before sleeping. Don't drink too much liquid before bed, so don't wake up to urinate. Learn some body relaxing meditation. Let us know what works.

I'm having acid reflux too... i stop taking nexium/controlox since i dont feel any burning around my shoulder, throat, neck and hand. But now is my stomach always full of gas and bloated after eating or drinking water. Sometimes my stool is soft and watery. What did you take or how you recover fr ur acid reflux?

Can the Bovine colostrum get fr pharmacy?

Now i go to bed around 10pm and wake up around 5am or 4am. My huband is very helpful to take care of my son for me at night. But sometimes my son's sound will wake me up and i can't sleep bck..like today... 4am.

2 hours before you sleep, don't watch TV or read heavy materials.

Before you shut your eyes, Pray (or hope) for better day. smile.gif

Drink some milk or read a super boring topic and you should be able to sleep soundly.

u can try colostrum from www.alpherco.com
this helps with the acid reflux...

other than that, like what was mentioned... try to do some exercise...
do some stretching before you sleep... and keep activities to d bare minimum....
light reading... light music...

hope this helps...
