it just occurred to me...it could be the same type of small 1.5V batteries as the ones used in watches. You could try replacing with one.

It seems to be a minor update over the s3 mini, with 4.5" screen. If it's over 1k, it's probably not worth it but I don't know what's the price of both s3 mini and the express.

This looks like a standard rooting procedure by injecting root via PDA flash. Standard for many Android phones. Don't see any risk unless you have PEBKAC

If you wish to start a topic, note the following:
