they have successful businesses taht their dad left them. off n on they look for projects which have big returns.
these are not highly educated people, and no matter what they do.. they wont get an invite to pavarotti concert by YTL.

these people drive big cars , wear designer goods.. but just wont make it to high society even they rub shoulders with ministers etc.

this is shared by one of my friends.. he goes to genting and get pampered. what he needs to do is.. go once a week. he doesnt aim to win big, just ensure he doesnt lose. he just wants to roll ard rm1m per month. and he has additional rm 10k pocket money. or he can afford to lose rm10k lo.

for me i cant afford to roll so much, neither can i afford to lose rm10k la.

but to him, he is used to taht life style. he can get rooms free, concert tickets. eat good stuff for free.

he is not really there to gamble, but to socialise. meet others and brig other there to have fun.

he is very patient and he has some good strategies when he plays. its not easy but he has found his pace.
i am there to make up the numbers and the crowd when we go drink n party after gaming. haha

not advocating anything. but i like his style. this is more like european gaming mentality.

majority of the staff dont know there work or programme well. try asking a few telling different things useless.

alot of gamblers have their own and different of life style. it depends on what it want and affordability. thrill,excitement,appetite etc but it comes back to individual affordability.

if they are happy with it, by means go ahead continue. as long as they know what is going on

whats the difference between the elite/maxim (previously at genting grand upstairs. only maxim can enter)/vip/genting club casinos section?

what type of card category can enter to those section?

whats the benefit of joining genting club?

last time its Maxim / Elite / VIP now there is GC, GG private rooms, Maxims VIP

Maxims used to be for important people who dunwan to bump into commoners ie, rockstar ka govet officers from other countries ka etc. its by invite and some plats can enter.

elite, as long as u have plat can enter.


now GG its all private rooms and no more common gaming area. 2nd floor used to have common gamig area and 4 rooms. 3rd floor have a10 private rooms. if u can check in rm3 to 5 m u can use the rooms.

same min rm 1k bet. u can order some food from menu in teh room. some are foc.

Again, how many private clubs in KL can u join for RM1k a year? if u deduct one night stay n limo, the cost to u is ard rm 500 only.

u get invited to events, so far already 2 times.

its a good place for having a drink etc. the bands are international band. if u club one night at something like this in kl , will cost u few hundred.

although having said taht everything is payable. u can use points. anything to do with points.. its cheap

its cheaper to drink a pint of Hoegarden in GC than outside.. haha

he only brings rm20k onto the table, he has another 30k in pocket, but at any time he needs to pull in resources, he has signed blank cheque with genting. thhy will allow him credit. quite large credit. doesnt mean he hasnt got the money but as a convenience.

he needs the extra cash in his play strategy.

if u analyse his strategy then u know, u need deep pockets just to break even. u cant expect bring small knife n cut big tree. u will always end up losing more than u can ever imagine.

after having said all these...

just want to bring things back to perspective..

my friend aims not to lose... but these 2 mths genting has been very fierce

last mth i think he down rm 20 to 30k. but oevrall still win la

until now , just for this mth think he is still behind. but not sure how much

when will he stop?? i didnt dare ask him. did cross my mind, but.... pantang haha

i think the genting club is club for the rich/drinkers. if have the opportunity to go in and feel the experience is good enough. later in point of time will be bored.

if for gambling is not worth it bcos the limit is quite high. eventually gamblers will lose more.

if people do not unnecessary need to spend that kind of $$. on the bright side, not to get yr feet wet further. better to stay out

No point joining if it do no good to the person in the long run. if for business is different thing not personal.

club need to maintain yearly if not much or force to use later on. alot of hidden cost behind
