Info:
What's The Best Way To Break-In A New Engine ?? The Short Answer: Run it Hard ! Why ?? Nowadays, the piston ring seal is really what the break in process is all about. Contrary to popular belief, piston rings don't seal the combustion pressure by spring tension. Ring tension is necessary only to "scrape" the oil to prevent it from entering the combustion chamber. If you think about it, the ring exerts maybe 5-10 lbs of spring tension against the cylinder wall ... How can such a small amount of spring tension seal against thousands of PSI (Pounds Per Square Inch) of combustion pressure ?? Of course it can't....... QUOTE(WayneWWL @ Apr 21 2013, 09:33 PM) Congrat and welcome to the club bro 1.5 fingers gap and -3.5 rear camber is enough for me currently huhuhu. Maybe will try to lower it to 0 gap, but need to do a bit flare at the rear fender. This post has been edited by calmshot: Apr 21 2013, 09:42 PM |

currently on 3.5k ODO
L/100 is 10.8 digital metre shows 600km coz usually i pump up to RM75-80. if correct, one full tank 55 litres will cost about RM104.50 (55 litres x rm1.90 RON95) i forgot, the red fuel light will blink at how many percent? 5 or 10%? i regular driver, alternating between my old car with exora. speeding, rare unless got chased by rude driver. mostly at 80 - 100km, AES is a menace nowadays. so 10.8, i guess...is still high for me haha. ============== KFH offered 2.55% This post has been edited by dreamKrusher: Apr 22 2013, 02:38 AM |
