I leave everything on and still typically achieve 4-4.5hr SOT before I plug my phone to the charger at around 20% or less. I rarely let my phone go below 20%.

i disable all google+ google maps, disable location, disable auto sync ,and many more GSAM battery shows , GSAM batter helped me a lot lot lot...

now i recharged full and have installed bbs and remove GSAM, will test again on tomorrow morning after recharged full however i still have my gmail, skype, whatsapp installed

or maybe i will go get some high capacity batt with same voltage and we'll test how it goes

Just curious, how much SOT do you intend to achieve, or how much total usage time do you wish to have? You posted yesterday you're already hitting about 5hrs SOT, maybe 6hrs, with your standard battery already. That's really good for any modern smartphone, at half the capacity of the Note 2 battery.

Guys, help me...

I setup my Google account on my sister's Note II because she wanted me to add apps for her. Being the nice sister, I actually helped her since I have bought quite a lot of apps.

Now here comes the problem, her contacts are sync-ed to my Google account and I really hated that a lot! I tried to delete them and this also deletes from her side. Now her friends' WhatsApp also appearing on my WhatsApp list.

Is there any way, I retain this Google account but I just want to disable the contact to be synced to my Contacts? I don't want any of the Google Contacts to be synced to my phone. Any solution?

yeah with still left battery

tomorrow want to test again, maybe same with my nokia. if i can't , then i go test 3000mAH battery hope it wont spoil my phone

I thought you can select which account you want synced? In Setting>Accounts>Google I think. You select which account you want and there are options to sync Calendar, Contacts etc ...

Settings > Google > XXXXX@gmail.com > Sync contacts .... untick it . Not sure if it works , never try b4 .

I know, I Googled and it shows the same results...
There is no box for me to untick. Or am I doing the right thing?

Wah so messy.

There is suppose to be a box next to contacts, calender, etc. for you to tick to see what you wanna sync.

Try removing the account in Settings > Accounts > Google > xxx@gmail.com

Ah yes i see on my other phone with multiple acc got no checkbox also. But there is also no auto sync and only manual sync.

Please don't do this. Once you turn back sync the contacts will be deleted in the google server as well.
