QUOTE(gkl83 @ Nov 12 2008, 12:23 PM) if modem, router, switch, wireless AP and all the power source come from the same points... gkl bro, I'd like to proceed with the order. There are some slight changes, I'll juz purchase a SP9201DSL x 3 + MDSC0039 x 2 + postage to Sban = RM ??and totally no wired lan cable involved.. and u may going to use fax machine and telephone from the tel line... your choices will be SP9201DAF + MDSC0039 Is the SP9201DSL compatible with adsl2? and does it come with analog + DSL? Thanks! Let me know how to pay you and when will the items reach me. Thank you! Please PM me best price ( I noticed some with discounts on ur main page ) If 9201DSL and 9201DAF about same price then I'd get DAF to provision for fax machine in future... Thank you!! SP9201DAF for telephone and modem aka ADSL splitter filter SP9201DSL for modem only if u wanna to protect your modem and ur computer, recommended for complete protection by using SF9512DSL at least... bcos the surge may come from power line as well... one of LYN forumer used SP9201DSL only and i inform bear the risks if protect tel line only, after few months his modem dead... but all the LYN forumer who followed my recommendation are working perfectly and cal-lab protecting their equipments... |

QUOTE(Crazy.SoT.Gila @ Jan 8 2009, 08:06 PM) Hello, remember me? the differences is on the tel module... SF9812DSL tel module was support by small cube SKPXDSL... if SF9812DSL tel module damaged by lightning, you are required to change SKPXDSL which the replacement cost just RM10... but if SF9512DSL tel module damaged by lightning, you required to change whole unit which the replacement cost up to RM25... so recommended for outstation users purchase SF9812DSL instead which allow them to courier damage SKPXDSL to HQ for restoration purpose and SKPXDSL are easier to courier if compare to whole unit of SF9512DSL... |

QUOTE(gkl83 @ Jan 8 2009, 08:33 PM) the differences is on the tel module... I see. So basically their function is exactly the same both also has the ADSL splitter filter, just that SF9812DSL can separate out the telephone line part, right? DSL module for high speed ADSL signal Digital module for dial up modem or fax machine or 512 ADSL streamyx |
