hi can pm me which model is for protect pc, broadband, and have multisocket? pm best price also to sarawak if buy 2 piece?
*

you can use SF9812DSL since you located at outstation... bcos it have lower replacement cost compare to SF9512DSL and easier to courier back to Muar, Johor due to the small size small tel module for restoration...

if u prefer multi socket version, u can use SF9512DSL MS2+3 or IT Pack...

both of the suggested models only valid for 1 PC complete set with 1 modem only... if u have PC to PC networking via router (connected with many PC via LAN) and have telephone nearby ur PC set, u need additional / other models for better protection...

Hi bro, i bought the Trinity IT pack...i think around a year ago, not really sure, it was recently strike by lightning, but the only damage was to the telephone line port, it is no longer working, do you have like a replacement for that module only? Thanks.
*

u have to change whole unit if IT Pack and SF9512 series...
if u want the model which can change the module only, only SF9812 have the replacement module for telephone...

Hello.

Which one would you recommend if i needed for Modem, Computer and monitor only?
i would like something that can support 10mbps( unifi)

Thanks
*

if u using Unifi for your computer setup, hence only 1 PC connected and no TV concerned...
u can protect power source will sufficient...

QUOTE(santik @ Jan 2 2011, 11:32 AM)
I got a LCD TV, amp, DVD, coaxial antenna(no Astro).

What you recommend? I am in Kajang.

Can it be used with 4 gang plug? From the unit?
*

you can use STV9511 for power and aerial antenna protection...
if u have telephone nearby ur TV setup then u may need other models...

u can use multisocket for extra gang, but it only limited of ur TV, amp, DVD equipments only... excessive power extension no recommended as concerned that may effect the protection efficiency...

but if I touch my amplifier that is made of metal I got some current flowing to me... is that bad grounding?

and does that still works on cal lab?
*

either is bad grounding of your equipments or your multi socket or poor earthing provided by TNB

if your equipments with bad grounding, nothing much can do...
as good equipments usually wont leak any currents out from the casing...

Hi, My setup like this:

4  phone lines
1 adsl modem connected to 1 phone with splitter for internet connection
1 PC with 4 fax modem, 3 modem connected to 3 phone line directly and 1 modem connected to the splitter. all for receiving fax.

kindly let me know what model is recommended and how many unit i would need for this type of setup?
and price + shipping to kl.

thanks
*

Setup 1
PC used with ADSL modem and telephone & splitter located beside both PC equipments, u can use the combination of MDSC0039 + SP9201DAF... SP9201DAF will used to replace ur ordinary ADSL splitter filter...

Setup 2
PC + 4 unit fax modem, you can use SF9512ARD + 3 unit SP9201ARD. about your statement "1 modem connected to the splitter", you means this tel cable come from Setup 1's tel cable?

anyway, is it ALL of the equipments as above located in the same room?

hi, I've modified abit on the diagram. which i only have 1 pc.
[attachmentid=1990863]

in this case, do i still need the MDSC0039 if i connect my adsl modem to the PC2 multi socket?

thanks
*

if 1 PC + 1 USB ADSL Modem + 4 USB Fax Modem
since all of your modem powered up via USB, no necessary for MDSC0039...
unless u means your ADSL modem wasnt the USB type, but connected via lan cable instead...

1. ur ADSL splitter filter and telephone placed near to ur PC?
2. have any PC to PC networking via same router? (more than few PC inter-connected to modem/router)

Please update me on your proposal
*

what is your equipment list and what is total power consumption? only 2 desktop + 1 modem router concerned? bcos cal-lab have 1000w & 2000w version depend on your load... hence is ur ADSL splitter filter and telephone placed near to ur PC?

All of them are connected on a same table..

1. Yes
2. U mean connected thru the internet using cable connected to the router??? Yes, Got 2 PC connected to the router(modem) using cable.
*

if both of PC and modem router located at the same table/area... then lan cable protection no concerned...

as overall, 2 PC, modem router & telephone located at the same table/area, then u can use the combination of MDSC0039 or SLMS2+3 or Twin Power Pack + SP9201DAF smile.gif

if ur TV no connected any aerial antenna, u can use MDSC0039FC for power and astro protection

hi need ur advice...

LCD tv + antenna + astro + 2 stand fan + dvd player...

is that too much equipment on one socket?
*

u can use SFTv9622FC for power, astro and aerial antenna protetcion...
as long as ur total power comsuption no more than 1000w then should be fine...

i noob with this product, can i know how much ur selling 8 socket surge protector? got any diff ma?
*

Whether or not protection will be effective depends on whether a safe-island has been correctly created.
We cannot answer anything simply without looking thru your equipment's connection. We hope you understand.
If installed wrongly and/or with wrong models, even the most expensive protector wont prevent your equipments kill by surge.

About the efficiency of the cal-lab and other *ahem* brand, please refer to post #4... smile.gif

*

no such things that multi socket will lead the surge...
unless used poor quality multi socket or excessive cable extension to another location...
even though belkin come with multi socket version, still doesn't means it can against surge efficiently...

i sold many units of MDSC0039 with 1*3pin power socket, and most of LYN forumer used with multi socket, no complaint about this kind of combination... smile.gif

is the same performance as long as TPP and SP9201DAF located together...
but for this combination you can protect modem & telephone at the same time and same location
