I brought your Hi-fi version for clean suply ones, very good I have to say. No more sudden change in power will affect my audio. However, now I considering install a system in my house for computer (and possibly television system).

The question I wanted to ask is whether fiber optic is prone to lightning strike ? According to my own logic, fiber optic shouldn't need any protection, so my computer system only need normal type of cal-lab power extension, is that right ? *please correct me if i'm wrong*

As for my television, it uses satellite dish astro. But I suppose lightning wouldn't strike on mine ? (it is placed lower than my house roof)

What type of installation plan you would introduce to me ?

Cal-Lab have the protection for auto gate but the models may vary depend on connection type...


usually fiber optic cable wont carry any surge at all... technically u just require to protect the power source will do for the basic setup... as the TV with satelite dish, recommended to the MDSC0039FC at least as the price doesn't high compare to other models...
