QUOTE(munkeyflo @ May 9 2013, 07:34 AM) Actually kinda packed to the brim edi for the coming 24-26 may. But if you're going on your own, maybe we can meet up for some drinks there or something. No problem, I can see that you've been organizing this trip for the past few months and I understand my request is a real last minute one I will see if I can attend the TT this Friday.

Haha, can actually add in one or two more person but I doubt it'll be comfortable cause the room is only suppose to fit max 3 pax and have to use sleeping bag for the extra person edi. Unless you don't mind sleeping under the stars haha

QUOTE(wKkaY @ May 9 2013, 12:27 PM) No, we only had a day to spare between our course dive and our flight, so we went kayaking instead in the mangroves. My body is really battered now I guess your luck and timing are perfect for you to finish off your OW in Phi Phi instead of local island, is it? I have dive with them 3 years continuously and from what I see OW certified course would go Ao Nang instead of boarding their big boat.

Yeah we were on the big boat (Champlee 10 or something like that) on both days. There was also a video guy on board on the first day so we got a few seconds of footage of ourselves doing our first dives

The boat name is Petchamanee 10. On my last visit, I have complaint about quality of food provided which to me dropping a lot from previous year. How do you find your food on board the big boat? After watching the video I realize there's so much stuff in the sea that I didn't see! I found the food alright, it's not gourmet standard; more like home-cooked food. They had fried rice, meat, mixed vegs, mixed fruits, cinnamon roll, and free flow soda.

QUOTE(munkeyflo @ May 9 2013, 07:34 AM) Wetsuit usually no problem. Worse come to worse, just wear tshirt and board shorts. Or you can go get a rash guard, which can also be useful for any other watersports other than diving. We Asian mostly have smaller nose. The western brands may not fit very nicely but you can still use it, just a little harder. Try looking at IST if you're planning to get a cheap mask. The other brand that can fit Asian nose is also Tusa. Many dive centers around and almost all, if not all, provides Padi OW course. What I suggest is to take some time and speak to the various dive center and see which one that you feel is comfortable and convenient for you. Most of the divers here seem to have gotten their license from Diver Den in PJ, maybe you can check them out too. Thanks for the tips, munkeyflo. I'll check it out soon. QUOTE(juniorkirk @ May 9 2013, 10:50 AM) hmm, which part of kl/klang valley area? Well, initially around kl city,or maybe shah alam or p.j area...
