with unifi since VIP5 on early 2013, and at last change to Rm139 30mbps Nov 2017

But I am only gettoing approx 90Mbps with LAN.

 

any 1 here (from kuching) have upgrade to new 100mb plan ?? do TM have give/change new router for u ?
my BTU - Alcatel Lucent I-240-G ,router - RG-Innatech-RG4332 .found out only can run 93mb speed only use cable. can i call TM to ask them come to change new router for me ??

just call tm anytime or chat to them in the tm website to open report. they will arrange technician to come to your home. TM will only replace either brand TP-Link or D-Link to you. i have Lucent i240g too but it is not related to the BTU.
You need to upgrade to a better router.

My unifi turbo 500mbps can’t get full speed. some people say that my router RT-AC55UHP maximum only can get 300mbps.

That’s why now I am facing the similar issue like you too. TM was sent technician to my home but he can’t confirm why my line only can get 300mbps. There have many reasons can cause my line can’t get full speed. However, my first step need to do is upgrade router. That’s why Im looking for RT-AC86U in taobao.

For better speedtest result, you may change the speedtest server to Telekom Malaysia or Time dotcom. You can test it again, ping should be lower down to around 25.

Update on the new setup.

- Using new router, ASUS RT-AC58U with CAT 6 cable, and the results are:

Well I went to the nearest Tmpoint to make a report on missing cover of one of the box-thingie-on-pole because if it's rainy day the rain will drip straight into the box and affects the whole circuit and stability of the internet.

and told them I have no problem continue paying the current monthly subscription which is MYR 18x after SST, provided I get the Turbo-upgrade. Else I would switch to the cheap 100Mbps package.
Of course, you have to be gentle and patient to tell them.

So the customer service lady put me on waiting list after listening to my reports and few days later got the upgrade.

i've been turbo-ed to 300Mbps for a month now and still the best speed i can get is roughly 60Mbps.. what a bullock

Hi, got turbo-ed to 800Mbps, still using old TPLink from tm, AC1200/C5, connected using 5Ghz. constantly getting no more than 150Mbps (Megabits). Feeling weird, cause as i know TPLINK AC 1200 supposes support up to 867Mbps for 5Ghz channel, but i dont even get more than 300Mbps. Anyone? Please advice.
