TM is now very speedy nowadays. From built-out to general availability now takes less than a month, unlike 6+ months like back then.

can totally confirm this as well. Another of my friend just got his UNIFi installed just 3 weeks after applying. I think TM finally have dedicated staffs handling this

if you mean UNIFI, looks like zero coverage there. You can still dota with streamyx without too much issues

it should be one of those roadshow like events they have been doing like recently at CityOne and Saberkas. Very likely would be the standard packages. Usually only special offers would be for those long time existing customers whose contract almost expire

EDIT: also can anyone around sarawak and sabah still confirm if VIP5,10 and 20 still available?. Seems like they're forcing everyone to go for UNIFI30 or 50

Went to have a look at the Unifi promotion at the shopping mall here as advised by TM SMS.

Big disappointment. Same thing as the Unifi promotion last year. RM179 for 30 M, add RM20 for the phone calls, etc.

Was hoping for the free calls this time. No such offer.

No need to waste your time going to offers like this one.

The advance plan 30 Mbps should've been priced at RM 199 by this time, but instead the promo has been extended until further notice.

Hence the "promo"

Yes. Just their sales trick. Later they will modify the promotion content, shifting things around and still use RM199 as the original cost.

Not going to upgrade to Unifi till they give me free calls! PERIOD. Ha. Only RM20 extra but they really pissed me off that some in W Msia could get the free calls thrown in.

So different lower class of TM customers in E Msia. One has to pay more.

unfortunately no. There was an online 'register interest' page before but I can assure you that it didn't help much (still end up waiting 3+ years after doing it)

Good news, for those who are living in Taman Bukit Saujana, 88400 Likas KK here. I was just went back to my home just now and saw a TM technician was pulling a fiber optic cable through the behind of my house. They just hang the fiber optic cable on the pole, another technician was pulling the cable at another side. Confirmed is fiber optic cable with its yellow-black stripe. Sorry for my poor camera, I don't dare to walk forward there to take camera since the technician was working at there.

I was reported once before to MCMC for Unifi coverage at last year December. TM was also called me and apology for Unifi unavailability at my house area at last time. I really can't imagine how soon they take action to install fiber optic cable at my house area now. Same like last year when I report Unifi unavailability at Sandakan. I was last reported to MCMC with my Mile 5 Taman Utama Sandakan address. Soon, they are now already installed fiber optic cable mostly at Mile 5 area.

TM only install the fiber optic cable base on demand just what I read from the posts above. They won't simply install the cable unless there have someone stand out to complaint. The most effective way to request for Unifi coverage at your home area is to report your Unifi demand directly to MCMC. They will pass your complaint to TM after a week and TM will reply for your complaint within a month.

You can try to report your difficulty to MCMC if you really want to use Unifi at your home.
