QUOTE(Pink Spider @ May 11 2013, 10:32 AM) I'd go for EI Equity Income. y'day invested 17% on my portfolio into Hwang Select IncomePreviously, OSK-UOB Smart Treasure not bad. But recent years not so good. Btw, anyone buying into Hwang Select Income Fund Hwang said this is a "Peace of Mind" fund....jus a bit riskier than select bond. |

When I go Maybank Cash Deposit Machine and key in their account number, that's the name that appears. the FSM client service rep provided me with the whole sentence and information about ihow to pay it.....they should hv provided a quicker /simpler method.cannot do IBG, then hv to buy banker's cheque with the whole long name things...then deposit the cheques into maybank cheque deposit. yet checked with my FSM a/c status...the cheque which i posted in at 10.30am on Friday are still stated as "processing" |

QUOTE(David83 @ May 13 2013, 09:38 AM) AmAsia Pacific REIT has high exposure of REITS in Australia and Singapore. tks for the highlight...As of 31st March: Australia 23.5% Singapore 39.8% Japan 18.5 Seems like it starts to jump into Japan instead of HK. Maybe it's a buying opportunity of Yen weakening and Japan equity is in high mood. was thinking of Northeast Asia (include Japan) amasiapac Reit....like u said high exposure ito Aus & spore. like "Kaka 23" had said earlier.... "I think dont hv funds with Japan together with greater china la. AmAPAC Reits got Japan and HK la, but no Taiwan or Korea. EI Dinasti dont hv Japan, got greater china." in that case...what about 2 funds combine?... |

QUOTE(Kaka23 @ May 13 2013, 09:37 PM) Ya, I am aiming Select Imcome as well. Aiiman Select Income is also on my radar. Will choose either one I guess. jfyi,Select Income has more fixed income exposure, 70% where as Aiiman has 60%. SI fund manager is managing a huge pool of money, RM2billion, will it be harder to manage? As they need to keep looking for place to invest when they lock profit and when new investor money comming in. Down side of Aiiman SI is that it has less area to invest due to its Islamic nature. But hey, Kenanga Syariah, Aiiman Growth and now the new Aberdeen Islamic is doing great as well. when i was introduced to H SI by Hwang IM, last week, they said that the 70% bond section are divided by 60% Foreign and 40% local bond. and the extremely large pool of $$ (2 billion) is good for the fund mgr cos they can easily diversified the holdings. |

QUOTE(Kaka23 @ May 13 2013, 09:47 PM) Ya, not sure why SI doesn't have the 1%sc? Maybe Hwang wants to encourage investors to go into Aiiman SI now. i guess it is due to the bond holding of the SI funds.....inside the 70% bond and 30% eq portfolio, 60% of the bond are foreign and only 40% of the bond holding is local. You have the funds? i maybe wrong, but i guess that might be the reason....cos FSM is now promoting m'sia fund |

Pink, you are right again,FSM emailed me today, here is what they said, Yes, you can make payment via Public Bank internet banking facility. You may enter “IFAST CAPITAL SDN BHD” under the beneficiary column. Thereafter, you may continue your payment process. so now can use shorter IFAST name instead of the long sentence as informed by their client service and their website. |
