This has been one helluva helpful thread for me. I was looking around the net on the new DELL centre in cyberjaya but wasnt able to find anything. Anyway im currently in DELL USA and am looking to transfer back home in around a year time or so.

Anyway those with details on DELL CJ operations do add me in YM! list my user id is glesaux@yahoo.com and I'd appreciate any kind of infos. Im just currently looking for options back home coz though "Hujan Emas negara orang, Hujan Batu negara sendiri, baik kutip emas banyak2 baru pulang ke negara sendiri" hehe

Rgds,

Joe

im working for dell australia, the most common type of complaint we get from customers is the language problem. most of the customers dont seem to understand the msian slang. customer care is based in msia, tech support is based in msia and india for the whole asia pacific region. if you want to make it to the phone based tech team and customer care, you really needs to be speaking good english, not just good msian english, throw away those slang and accent, be clear and precise.

with regards to the engineers and programmers, a good result for fresh grads and relevant experience. dont ask me too much tho, i'm still a fresh grad.

Well, one of my colleagues graduated from US University and she speaks very good "American English" but she still getting complaints from those Aussies like" I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU.... OR ... CAN YOU SPEAK IN AUSTRALIAN ENGLISH"...

i think this has been discussed in the previous pages. Read from pg 1 onwards. But no one talked abt global procurement or services yet.
