I would spend some bling money on a dropper seat post rather than do that. Safer and faster.

Guys I need some advice to put this air-pump to my bike.

user posted image

Currently it is seated on the top tube as you see in pic.
Previously it was in the seat tube just behind the water bottle cage.
Really not a good place as it gets very dirty after a ride offroad.

But because of the shape of tube for my bike, fixing on top tube makes will move from side to side.
Beside i am using Thule car rear hanger to take my bike, so fixing at seat tube makes it an obstruction for mounting the bike to the carrier (Light Green color part is where the bike will be fixed to the carrier.)

Got any good idea? notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

Whats with the seat angle? its like downwards... hurmm..

As a rider who rides a relatively heavy bike, well, i can say that once the bike starts rolling, we won't feel that much weight. Responsiveness and flickability IMHO is determined by the geometry and fit. For example a slack geometry with wide bars is more responsive than the same frame with shorter bars. A less slack angled bike will feel less flicky compared to a slacker bike. Wheelbase, head angle and center of gravity dictates how responsive it is.

Another example is that, slacker bikes are more responsive at speed compared to less slack bikes and at slower speeds, a less slack bike is more responsive when slower.

Of course...
These all play big in your bike setup...

Anyway...

Not downwards, the rear part of the bike is on stand. So looks downwards.

Got it from taobao, selling at about Rmb80 exclusive of shipping. I bought RM600 worth of things and shipping is RM90 (by ship). Estimate shipping is RM6 for that. You can get here too, about RM80

agree! headtude angle is also important for responsiveness of the bike.
lighter bike easier to ride, ma. nobody ever goes in the LBS and ask for the heaviest bike even DH riders here want titanium balls for bravery not Depleted uranium.

1.5 is fast, 1.25 faster and dual colour rubber compund means you can match it to colour of your bike. if u r going road go fast, get the 1.25.
i wanted them but i got IRC smoothies 1.25, fast and quite comfy.

This is page one story. If you like the color, go ahead.

Acera is 21 speed or something.
Component wise, it is as it is to the price. So... nothing to shout.
If price is cheap... and u want to try the sport... buy
Throw it away or sell it even cheaper when u like the sport and plan to get a new one.
There is nothing worth keeping on the bike. There is nothing worth changing except change the bike.
