I don't like bike rack. The sometimes cause nasty scratch and dents on the car
*
get a good quality one, normally its user error. u need to clean the part that stick to your car before u mount.
tie up front wheel and put on a sock on the pedal and you are good to go.

u can opt for roof rack system which cost min 2K or get a pick-up truck.

Hey guys,
Just now I was browsing through bikes at a shop in penang.
As I went in to look around for a starter bike
they asked me to get merida matts 400 (or something like that) has nine speed and what not for 1.9k+-

So I wonder if i can get anything better for that price.
Only cycled when i was young. still debating weather to get a mountain bike or a road bike. but apparently they said that mountain bike is better in penang as got alot of off trails and when wanna cycle on the road just cycle. Hmmm. Any advises? smile.gif
*
road bike and mtb is really different, u may want to rethink which one u like or suit u the most.
however he is right that mtb still can ride on road just not as efficient as road bike

I am not regular biking so I really don't want to mount anything on my car.  I just want a bike that can go in the boot.
