 Nokia Lumia 720, Same huge battery as Lumia 920!

Lumia 720 Battery usage

1. At 100% charge turn off 3g n Wi-Fi. No alarm set. Battery saver set to always on .

2. After 10 hours battery is 98%. Wi-Fi on to check messages. 10Mins approximately. Wi-Fi off 3g on.

3. Didn't track exactly but wechat abt 1 and half hr combined surf 2 hrs combined . 3G remained on throughout the day for testing purposes. Short phone calls abt 5 mins in total.

4. Camera abt 15 mins combined.

5. Brightness-Auto.

This test was done on May 19. I have a habit of charging my phone once battery left 50-60% and on the days i hardly use the phone by midnight still got 70% left, 3g remained on thorughut the day. However i wonder if the 3g(umobile) reach quota kena throttled had anything to do with it.

nah, it takes awhile to reach that kind of usage. When i first bought it only can last 8 hours.

don't believe the estimated time left. it will change when u start using the phone for to do something so it could be much lower than 8.

Yeah I think it's normal now. Mine with location and wifi always on, ProShot, some other normal usage still can last 1 1/2 days.

my 720 also can last more than 1 day..
unplug @ 7.30AM...
3G, location service ON (bluetooth, Tap+Send, background task all OFF)

afternoon 12pm, still got 80%,
evening after work 6pm, still got 70%
then play games, download apps, fb using wifi at home.. 12am still got 40%

very much better compare to my wife's 920, could be because 920 using higher power CPU and high resolution LCD.

Hi,

Just got my Lumia 720 in black color last nite.
So far everything are in orderly manner as I expected.
Really love the display..

But one thing concerns me is the camera flash.
I did turn off the flash function, but it will still flash just BEFORE it snap a picture. Is this normal?
When I turn on the flash function it is like normal, where it snap the picture with a flash.

u sure not it is flash, not focus assist light?
