Sleek, light and bright. Stand out from the crowd.

With its slimline unibody design, bright covers and vibrant screen, the Nokia Lumia 720 is guaranteed to turn heads. But it’s not just a pretty face. It has extra long battery life and a touch screen that works even with gloves or long finger nails. You can also charge it wirelessly by clipping on a Wireless Charging Cover.

Put yourself in the picture. Video call face-to-face.

The Nokia Lumia 720 boasts an HD front-facing camera with a wide-angle lens that’s perfect for squeezing all your friends into one shot, as well as for chatting on Skype. Have fun with the front-facing camera and Lumia exclusive digital lenses, like Glam Me, which allows you to take self portraits and add the star treatment by whitening teeth and tanning your skin. Picture perfect every time.

The back-facing camera with wide-angle lens and low light technology means you’ll always get the perfect shot - wherever you are. And our Lumia exclusive digital lenses ensure every shot’s a winner. Honestly? Nokia could have been more creative with the phones. I honestly cannot differentiate which is which...

As in with the external look? That's part of the design language I think.

820 use faster hotter CPU that use more power then the battery is smaller. I think 820 no super sensitive thing. so 820 is wasted totally by 720.

this one? fuuuu the battery life sure beat even 920. 2000mah powers the slower CPU + smaller 4.3 screen + lesser ram + lower resolution.

I guess the battery is build-in like 920. If not build-in, swap into sun global =  shocking.gif
I hope they price is @ 999
*
The battery life going to be awesome biggrin.gif With these specs? RM 999? Impossible. Estimating RM 1099-1199.

620 = 699, 820 = 1399, so I think they gonna price it @ 999. 1199 is just too close to 820 already.

249 euro just about RM1K only.

620 is 799 when it launched. 1099 it is then! biggrin.gif

Yes, but worst part now is waiting Nokia to launch it. Hope won't delay forever like the 920 and 820.

spec wise is L720 better than L820?
*
Depends on which specs but overall Lumia 720 is better.

Pros :
Better camera(front n back)
Better batery
Better dimensions (thinner and lighter)
Better screen (according to some reviews)
Cheaper

Cons :
Slower processor and ram
No LTE

720's low light photo capability drool.gif

QUOTE(ktek @ Feb 25 2013, 11:11 PM)
but it weight down a lot from 820's heavvy 160gram

impossible. 1ghz performance cannot beat 1.5ghz
speaking from experience after tested a low end (my own) vs high end WP8 (kawan punya)

any idea when coming to malaysia?

Nope so far there's no announcement of release date in any countries. Only the online retailers in UK are claiming to be able to supply the phone on April 1st. If according to that Malaysia should be before April 1st. smile.gif

but only 512MB RAM. Will higher RAM help the phone run smoother?
*
Limitation won't come on the OS side. Only certain apps, especially games will require more than 512mb ram. smile.gif

lol just saying.
wah.. rather get a new 720 ah...
if the 720 comes with 1 gig ram then perfect already
all the windows app so memory demanding..yet the phone..
*
that's me cause i don't like used stuffs, personal preference right smile.gif but alot apps are being optimised for 512mb ram devices. because in volume these mid range and low range WP8 phone are gonna sell the most. so developers will be missing out if they dont optimize it.

this phone is not perfect because nokia want it to be not perfect...since they will make you pening2 when deciding between a L820 and L720...my advise..go for long term investment...take the Lumia 820 instead..
*
It's not nokia doesn't want it to be perfect, but all ways to cut cost so everyone can afford high end feature in a midrange device. About the ram, nokia decided so because there is no performance difference in using 1gb and 512mb. Only the apps optimisation.

Both the 520 and 720 does not have HERE Drive +.  smile.gif But to be frank there's not a massive difference between HERE Drive and HERE Drive+. If you're using HERE Drive+ you can use the app in multiple countries and regions, but if you're using the HERE Drive, you will only using it in one country using it's simcard.  nod.gif

To put it simple, HERE Drive - if insert the first simcard in Malaysia, you can't use the HERE Drive outside Malaysia.

But the problem is, the first sim card will define the HERE Drive apps iinm.. right?  sweat.gif
*
Yeah, its according to first sim card put in. So if you buy in Malaysia but put UK sim you'll get UK maps. smile.gif
