im not really scared of bricking, but instead lazy to download everything back, arrange tiles, etc.

So far, has anyone from Malaysia actually got portico OTA yet. Seems like Nokia says that the phased rolled out is in March but so far it seems more like they are rolling the dice on when to release it .

I don't think they roll out by phase though.
Haven't heard any users got their OTA update of the Portico.
If any users got it, please update here!

Flashed portico a while back and it's pretty stable for me.
A lot of people report about battery issues being worst but for me it's fine.
Now I don't have any fear to flash again if a new update comes out.
Whatsapp can now backup Seriously waiting for OTA takes centuries so i'll just flash it.

Just some info for people that have not gotten their hands on Lumia 920 yet:

1) Seems like shops are taking the SKMM voucher for Lumia 920 now.

2) Maybank2U website, the Superbuy deals are selling Lumia 920 for 1799.

Anyone facing problem with One Note. Suddenly it asked me to create an account everytime I want to share it. Bloody annoying. It worked well before.

Im considering the 520 as a new spare phone~ Most likely will cost 599 only. 600 bucks, get duo core processor and lag free, cant find in Androidland leh

Unwilling to spend so much on a 2nd spare phone lol; Im just a college student, already spent 2k on the Lumia 920, not to mention i was one of the early birds who preordered and got it back in December. Shiok mah if become an early adopter and grab it on launch day, because many ppl will think im nuts paying high price on launch day instead of waiting price drop a bit.

720 looks a lot nicer though, and most likely will go for 999 in price... that curved glass

By the way, this better be real. It will capture more ppl who want to try this OS. I dont use Instagram so far - it provides 16 ways for you to screw up a good photo. True that the community there is big, unless it reaches the size of half a Facebook i wont join; FB is enough for me.

me actually, if 720 come out first than 920, i surely grab two 720s, one for me, one for my brother lol..

most function i use in 920 also got in 720..


if i had 720 right now, i sure dont know what i miss on 920..


1. wireless charging? nope, i dont have fatboy or plate,
2. camera? lumia 920 is shitty anyway, plus 720 also not bad
3. 4G LTE? nope, i dont have it on my 920 either
4. better ram and processor? surely i can play games on 920, but it just get hot, i cant stand playing for more than 20minutes and the battery also drain like water


what i use most on my lumia
1. fb (native and apps)
2. internet explorer
3. gps navigation, this is the most important.. 720 screen also not so small, surely a good replacement for 920
4. music, sometimes only


so these function also got in 720.. so, i kinda regret the amount that i pay for this phone..
but what can i do, at least i got the flagship already..

check it... i remove the sim... i ply game 1 hour.. thn wifi suddenly cant work....i turn off n turn on... cant connect.. thn i turn off again... thn loading to off.. thn i jz leave it(lock screen)...after that few sec i try turn on.. DEAD again... is it hardware issue?

I only buy flagship phones nowadays, and oh, there's an important thing Lumia 720 is lacking - it only have half the RAM, cant run high tier games like Asphalt 7. Lumia 820 looked boring in terms of design.

On the camera, it was partly the reason why i bought it, but i tend to treat my phone cameras as if im a pro, i custom modified a tripod for this phone; i also had modified frames i DIYed to attach external lenses to my phones, especially the older N8, the lenses are extracted from ridiculous sources like CCTV's camera (i needed the wide aperture, most CCTV have f/1.6) for specific uses and the lenses had manual focusing like DSLR lenses.

After my exams i wanna DIY another set of frame to attach my current assortment of lenses to my L920. I also use apps like Proshot (especially the manual focus) and camerapro to push the camera to its best potential. I could say the photos are fantastic. Most of my photos are close up shots so the 'soft picture' problem is never really a problem to me. A geek with mental problem at work here.

possibly I am afraid. Have u check your battery status ?

it's ok ...i have done on my friend lumia and myself ..no problem ...make sure you got enough battery to run the installer and flash correct ROM

and when flashing ..u actually plugin your usb cable ...and finish in less than 2 minutes ..senang je
