Day 3 using gsn2 so far no lagg, battery I dunno whether normal or noy, around 9pm full went 10% 3 o'clock just now

Anyways, is otter box defender case good solution for that price range? I need a rugged an if I accidentally drop or abuse it which I sometimes do, any other brands recommended? Kraken? Ballistic??

Dont confuse here Note 3 was replacement for Note 2, rumors fly around said could be come with 6.3" screen. Note 8 rumors said for tab 7.7 replacement & come with 8" screen..

Pleased bear in your mind S IV also could be c/w S Pen features as well.

If S IV comes with spen then there is no point for Note series anymore. I dun think Samsung will include spen into S series.

That's why i said. Samsung should call it Note 8" instead of Note 3. And no..Note 8" is not a replacement for Tab 7.7.
Note Series different from Tab Series.

Hey can anyone help me here.. I search for answers in xda developers but everybody seem to have vague answers and it seems like I dont know which method to follow..
The problem arises when the media server is running in the background and it is awake all the time..
How to stop the media server process??
It is sucking my note 2 juice like madness..
Please does anyone knows how to stop it??

hi all,

you guys know that note2 battery is charged to 4.35V instead of general practice of other phones which is charged to 4.2V

In principal, if all things are the same, charging to 4.35V reduce battery life by more than half

so my question is, anyone has an idea if the samsung cell is so great compare to others that it can withstand this higher voltage or can we expect shorter life span for note2?

Only knew about this when andrei made this tweakable. But did not know that it will reduce batt life by half. That is alot, is there any link proving this.

BTW, perseus kernel can change this to 4.2V if you want.

By battery life I mean how long it can last before the battery finally degrade or died completely

then no more selling point on note series

nop.. bro before this i was using Galaxy W im sure S2 is the same.... .the phone designed to have 3 partitions. One is system memory, one is internal SD (internal memory) another is External. So when use App2sd ... it indeed move to SD but it is internal SD from system memory, the phone was configured the other way round. Usually SD is for external... dunno why stupid Sammy set it that way lol...

in Odin, uncheck/tick auto reboot.
=> and press start
=> when Odin shows BLUE RESET
=> press vol up+, home, power hold until you see Samsung Logo and release.

=> you're in CWM now.

=> choose option "reboot system now" and you get "yes - disable flash recovery", select that option to avoid stock recovery overwriting cwm
