QUOTE(marquis @ Mar 14 2013, 01:43 PM) Quick question: ONE just release to blogger/ reviewer yesterday only, wont have so fast got drop test i guess Any drop test videos for this phone yet? Torn between the Z and this phone, but I am prone to dropping my phone. A LOT. I've seen videos of the Z being tossed about, and even uncle benny (iirc it's him) have tried doing his own drop test. Phone still very much alive. The Zoe feature really excites me as the integration is very well done. However, I don't want a phone that will die on me after a few drops. Unlike some people here, paying 2k+ on a gadget on a constant basis isn't justifiable to me...So I'd like a phone that is robust. I digress. Apologies. Drop test - could anyone point me to a review that incorporates this? I've tried googling around, but get mostly One X and whatever other iterations of the One. Would greatly appreciate some help in this department TL;DR Any links to drop test video? Anyone personally knows how durable this phone is? Thanks that's why now when you google you will find all unboxing video for that |

QUOTE(marquis @ Mar 14 2013, 02:38 PM) Well, if I'm gonna be using a phone as beautiful as this (or the Z), I'd rather go naked (the phone I mean, not me changedHTC really outdid themselves this time round with the whole Zoe thing. Learning from Apple I must say. What made apple such a good experience is how they integrate everything together. Huge problem is for people that like to customize...well Apple thinks for you instead of letting you think for yourself. Jumping ship. No more stupid iOS for me. Ah. That explains why most the videos are just first looks. I like both the Z and One...but I'm afraid of the One's built quality - it is metal after all. If it can take the punishing like the Z, I'm sold OT: I notice a lot of people don't multiquote in the phone thread - is it some unwritten rule now? Coz I see old members doing it too no multiquote stack in 1 post in default setting already even you see the picture in reply thread will auto strink into smaller size and this is random thought for me haha, feel want get/ do this sticker for ONE if i got silver lolz ![]() M7 = star cluster name, ultraman homeland is M-78 This post has been edited by Agito666: Mar 14 2013, 02:52 PM |

QUOTE(giovanni @ Mar 15 2013, 01:25 PM) Here's my concern regarding HTC One's camera: ya 4mp is one of the issue for the ONE, but for me i think it is no problem, just train your skill in "FRAMING" http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/features/it...hallenge-HT.php that's all. |

QUOTE(newly wed duck @ Mar 15 2013, 02:08 PM) sticking to the majority will turn you into an "unsmart" consumer. apple ios win in user friendly. android is more like we power user reminds me of a survey i attended few days back. 7 people (including me) are required to give their thoughts on samsung and apple. why choose apple over samsung vice versa. i own a htc, but i borrowed my friend's s3 just to get in (and for the pay rm 180) some of them were asked, why apple over samsung? guess what they answered. 1 : because.. err.. apple lor. famous mah 2 : because android lags lor 3 : err.. because apple phone design nice lor 4 : (the most retarded answer of all) my whole family use apple so surveyor asked, why android lag? can give input? and have you used any android phones before? answer : idk lorh.. android is laggy lorh.. i think android bad compare to ios... ya.. my mom galaxy y.. it lags lor.. my iphone 3gs also not that laggy... i.. were going to bash them real hard. but instead i kept my cool and just sneered |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Mar 15 2013, 03:54 PM) I am running HTC sense5 on my missus butterfly that is a GREAT NEWS! It is lighter than sense 4+ The blink feed is amazing n updates quick Great for those who subscribed to tweets n newsfeeds n Facebook kaki who need constant updates. You can choose to update only with wifi if you are concerned about higher battery drain on 3g Had never like sense UI but sense5 had indeed impress me i have faith on HTC software developement |
