QUOTE(kwwong1 @ Aug 12 2016, 11:24 AM) I have been in construction industry for 20 years and I have been involved in different types of tenders. Frankly speaking, tender process for many projects in Malaysia is for show or just for price comparison purpose. I in construction too, Consultant side What type of industry are you involved? |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Aug 12 2016, 12:25 PM) From my obervation for the past 1.5 month, the AMY trains are generally slower than its predecessors (yellow blue) and it coupled with no segregation between Ampang and Puchong trains after raya upgrade. Hence the passengers will be "all in" until Chan Sow Lin station(to get some relief).I was able to board on Masjid Jamek(MJ) a few ocasions to compare the traveling time between KJ line and AMY. The crowd at AMY MJ started to build up since early 4pm but not to this dense. |

I wouldn't get too excited about hsr and quickly grab something at seremban. I mean, erl has been around for so long. How many of us actually grab something cheap at salak tinggi and travel to kl everyday with erl?

Well MJ station is the main transit point for KJ line too, so that's why the crowd is huge.. Wait for peak hour after 5pm. U die there... So much people.. Needed to wait for next 2 or 3 train only can board |

During jam pack at one side, instead of waiting for next two three rounds, what l have tried was to walk to opposite platform to travel to next one or two station (eg Bandaraya) further and take "early" train to SP direction ...(oppz)..Well MJ station is the main transit point for KJ line too, so that's why the crowd is huge.. The new system problems I guess... yea.. it's MJ station.. AMY trains are slower than old trains and surprisingly it broke down for a couple of times even though it's new set of china trains.. Well MJ station is the main transit point for KJ line too, so that's why the crowd is huge.. Wait for peak hour after 5pm. U die there... So much people.. Needed to wait for next 2 or 3 train only can board now, lapidkl forced ampang passengers to board the same sardine-packed trains as PH passengers in order to go to sentul timur. This is really unacceptable as it have caused massive congestion especially at MJ station after 6pm....Ampang passengers need to squeeze in the trains at MJ station or else you gonna wait for a long time.. As always they don't want to deploy more trains to cater more passengers. As a result, limited no. of existing trains need to work overload most of time causing breakdown and delaysss.. |

Sound like their sweet ride days had over since this raya upgrade and replaced with sweat ride days.... Alternatively, in the morning, l would suggest Ampang passengers to do a similar trick by riding on a train for a few stations to Cheras/SalakS/BTR and switch to an "early" train towards KL. This way, at least they get a better standing spot in case of sardine packed full. Off topic d..... |
