the best place i can think of using it is either the bedroom(so it becomes a stand) or the car (wont have to fiddle with wires )

in some cases, the wireless charger also comes with magnets to stick the phone to it.(the charger is slightly slanted)

call me old school, but the feature im eyeing the most is the IR blaster

been a long time since i've used that on a phone.
wonder if it is as powerful as the iPaq's...that device's IR could shoot meters away.

had to watch it on the train, and while the video was buffering, caught the whole "acting" skit and totally turned off by it

One thing that Samsung phone is still having its own advantage is their removable battery and memory card slot. As long they don't abandon those 2, it is still a good phone. But kinda disappointed with the design....

what i like the S4:
-Screen: though it's pentile, but the hands-on feedback are very impressive and positive!
-Battery: bigger size
-Phone Size: until now i still feel that my note2 is too big to put in my pocket, i used to have S3 and i think the s4 will be the most comfortable size i can accept.

i still love my note2 other than the phone size. i am contradicted(want big screen size but small phone size)

To those complained about the design, I did too. But realized that Samsung is doing an apple, they want their phones to be spot on from a distance that it is a Samsung, thus the little changes in design.

Comparison side by side s4 n htc one

What I seen from S4.

• Dual mode camera was cool - but someone point out it was there in LG Optimus G already.
• Others camera functionality was same as HTC Zoe in HTC One.
• Full AMOLED - means is PenTile again!!! as no mention of Plus behind.
• Exynos 5410 Octa performance nothing impress, just similar as S600.
• Air View - was fun for 1 mins, this thing was damn useless.
• Design - come on! Front & Side was a bigger edition of S III with S II side finish. Back as ugly as it suppose.

Bad move from Samsung!

I have no complaints about the equation since it's 4 hi performance and 4 power saving cores for different uses.

sadly that's how it works to maximize market share, expect more model from apple we shall see

that's how i convinced myself compare with htc one x last year, not again though, im ready to live without it and get a premium looks phone this time round

I know. Let me copy paste what i posted on S3 thread. It's not just Apple. I believe everyone does that. apple, htc and samsung. Sony too.

I just wish they revamped the whole design again. Start from scratch, build a beautiful phone. If you build a beautiful phone, you can continue from where you left off and have lots of positive reviews immediately. HTC is the best example.
In terms of phone beauty, I give 1)HTC 2)Apple 3)LG and Samsung takes the last spot :\

It's not to say Samsung designs is bad. On its own, it's pretty decent. But when compared to others, then you can truly see where Samsung stands.

Subjective. I liked S3, so S4 is nice. Some hated S3, so this wont be nice as well.

I could never compare Samsung with others. Hell, HTC and Sony always come up with good looking phones that I almost buy them always solely for the design. But I could really care less, it's not a fashion thing for me, once I get a phone, put a cover on it, whatever design it has, is gone then.

For me design is very important, as I use my phones without covers/casings and screen protectors. I don't believe in those nonsense.

Of course with that, you have to be extra careful too. But it's not a problem for me. Just be extra careful and enjoy your beautiful phone.

At the end of the day I dont think I am going to use all these mumbo jumbo S lifestyle features anyways...

So I think a phone with better design and feel not some cheapo plastic will deserve my cash

Was hoping for a more premium look, but I guess that 5 inch display does do it justice.
