QUOTE(Sanjev Selvam @ May 14 2013, 12:31 PM) I would not know what will be the latest promotion because I do not buy a Forte every week. I did survey on a few SAs, dealers, branches, and the fellow on the 1st page gave me the best deal, fastest respond at that time. If you have read through at least V17, you will know who you should go to for a Forte. Hail AZ Motors. Note, I am not a share holder. I am just a satisfied customer. |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ May 14 2013, 09:16 AM) A WXG 5xxx spotted on Kesas. Confirm is forumer because plate carries AZ Master. Some one from Klang knows how to go Sri Kembangan for a car is confirm due to recomendation here. His car has black roof sticker, side vent (I guess it is for aesthetic). You mean the visor on top of the windscreen? (sorry am not the owner of that WXG car btw =p but I just got my car recently from Mr. Loh)I actually looking for your visor. Mind sharing where you bought it from? Most probably it came from the Tint Shop Raytech as mine came with that visor (if we are talking about the same visor) Btw do add me to the list of owners =D Proud owner of a White 2.0 SX 2013 DRL (; (Car plate WYJ 3XX7) This post has been edited by KiyoshiJoz: May 14 2013, 07:46 PM |

QUOTE(pearlene @ May 14 2013, 09:24 PM) Hi, is there anyone can guild me regarding if i put HID on my headlamp n foglamp will my warranty be voided? Really depends on sc... And also depends on what u claiming on warrantyExample - If you mod your lights but your absorber got prob Can argue that the modding of lights did not cause the problem.. Therefore warranty should not be void If electrical, then there might be a problem (: |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ May 13 2013, 10:52 PM) Might also be the new engine oil. New oil is thicker hence heavier feel. At least I feel that way la. After you are used to it for 2 days, you will forget how it was. Heavier but you can feel the engine accelerate smoother. Haha, yup will only pump Shell;Caltex; or bHp. For smoother acceleration, try BHP. But I feel that BHP is not giving the instant power like Petron. Heck. No Petron, no Petronas. I rather go to Shell.p |

Petron took over Esso/Mobil in Malaysia, hence all the Esso/Mobil are under them. Esso that you still see now has not gone through the change in signboard. Usually are those small area stations. |

QUOTE(Jenn77 @ May 14 2013, 08:35 AM) Dear Fortezens, 1. This is normal due to the frame is not pure stainless steel or titanium...as long its didn't tear off its fine. Even you open up a bucket seat you will see the same thing.I'm part of the 1st generation Forte owner (car should be 3.5 years old now, ODO reading 22k mileage due to this is 2nd car, well kept and never encounter flooding inside the car)Below are some of the pictures I forcefully took after I request the mechanic / technician to remove my passenger car seat after I send my car for service yesterday. It all started when I spot the bolt mounting the car belt seat buckle rusty. [attachmentid=3437207] Then the mechanic / technician lay the passenger seat on the floor. Even they were speechless. Refer picture below; [attachmentid=3437208] Almost the whole carcass of the passenger seat is rusty! Even the spring! [attachmentid=3437209] [attachmentid=3437210] [attachmentid=3437211] [attachmentid=3437212] I spoke to the service manager. He said my car warranty over after 2 years. And this is not under the 'anti-rust' as it is not part of the car body. A call to my sales agent, he too gave the same feedback and promise will refer the issue back to his boss. I was told not to take pictures by the service manager and told me that this was an isolated case. No further feed backs from the KIA people and my passenger seat is assemble back to the car. I was told to leave the service centre. All I can do now is probably wait for the rust to spread and damage the lower part of the car body or perhaps anyone can share how I can remedy this serious problem? My thread is not to bash is just to share my discovery and I do hope it is an isolated case. I even ordered a sportage (2.5 months ago) but I cancelled it due to I have lost confidence in KIA. 2. The rust is due to the metal frame exposed to heat and moisture (from your aircond and hot sun) therefore surface will rust. |

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ May 13 2013, 09:25 PM) Meaning it's not in auto mode? If it is auto mode, u do know that depending on certain condition (which i'm not 100% sure what is) - the aircond will automatically switch the mode to external or internal unless you explicitly specify it. When i say explicitly means even though when you press auto, it is currently in internal - you need to push the internal circulation mode again, then your auto light will go off..but it is still in auto mode..hope that makes sense..if that's the problem that is Hmm....i don use 'Auto mode'......and i always make sure it's 'Internal circulation'....sigh... |
