tis 1 not sure, i think most of the new micro sdxc comes with exfat
not sure abt 32gb one, but pretty sure older micro sd card were using fat32

but u can format it to fat32 by using ur computer
other thn tat u can try ext4 or ntfs also but need to do more things,
even exfat with https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...n.mounter&hl=en

sidetrack a bit, it would be interesting to see how this could be incorporated into cellphones to address the battery issue rclxms.gif

if u r audiophile both is going to disappoint bcauz both r just audio software enhancement without audio chip
phone like s3 & note 2 & iphone with audio chip is better is DAC

ofcuaz i knw
i'm talking abt dedicated 1, like the samsung s3 n note 2 is using wolfson audio
or the apple tat they has been using 4 their phone wolfson or cirrus Logic etc...

just using the default 1 is not going 2 do much of help, if u aiming 4 good DAC quality
htc beat & sony clear audio+ is just software enhancement,
just like samsung whn they realize their audio software enhancement is crappy
they put in better audio chip in their new phone laugh.gif

it is kinda waste tat they didn't put a dedicated audio chip
like last time sony done it with their x series walkman, still stand strong until now
beats bass enhancement is also not bad if they use a good audio chip,

i most choosy 1 if u abt audio things with me laugh.gif

is it a standard that 64gb micro sd cards come factory formatted extfat?

while the smaller size like 32gb comes fat32 formatted? is this the reason why sony has been saying xperia z supports only up to 32gb since they can only read cards that are fat32 format?
*
Yes..at the moment all 64GB sdxc comes with default exFat formatted. You need to reformat the sdcard into Fat32 if you want to use it for your XperiaZ.
Same issue with Butterfly..after reformat, i can use the 64GB sdxc in my Butterfly without problem.

Sometimes it kinda sucks for Sony that they are a big company producing a lot of things.

They will need to consider the cannibalisation of sales into their dedicated Walkman, if they do produce phones with good DACs.

This is my battery usage impressions just in less than a day. Do note battery was fully charge from an external Yoobao powerpack and only now I am charging it live
Overnight with 3G on and Stamina mode enabled, battery drop was 2 % over 6 hours
I have recorded screen on time of 3 hours with 24% battery left. I was using solely on 3G for broswing about an hour plus, installation of about 100 apps, camera shots about 20 and 3 video short recording, reading my emails, tweeter, facebook and RSS feeds. I'd say it is pretty good since battery is not really fully optimised yet. I believe if I use WiFi for browsing, battery life will be better

Attached Image

I am happy with the battery life considering the high specs of the phone and hitting 4 hours SOT shouldn't be a problem

However, the phone operating temperature is obviously slight hotter ( by 2-3 degree C) vs the HTC Butterfly. Just talking 10 minutes on the phone, I can feel the warmness on my ears. Never have such on my Note2, Nexus 4 and Butterfly

The problem is the wallpaper - is greyish giving the impression is washed out. Replacing it with brighter and darker colors is better - will post some pics later on

These are samples of photos taken this morning ( no bright sunlight). All settings as default in camera and I selected "Superior Auto" mode. I am noob when it comes to photography - these are results of simple point and shoot

Most users buy Sandisk for the 64GB sdxc.
For 32GB..i prefer Kingston.

These are screenshots of alternative wallpapers - these look much better than the default whose greyish tone gives it a washed out look
