Not too shabby but somehow the other one, to me, is still better. It is more alluring.

i hope wit xperia z, the image of Sony will rise again, not that i want to brag when it does but today being a sony fan or lover will only be a joke to others. like me, most people around me always make fun of me as i use sony in most of my gadgets, from tv, camera, to hp and tablet. they said sony is dead, no one use sony etc.. the worst is, the said samsung is the best. samsung here, samsung there.

i missed the tym when sony products are seen as luxury, premium quality and branded.

No bias intended. I am not brand loyal but just want quality products. I have a full set of Sony home theater system at home. When it comes to certain electronic gadgets, Sony is still deemed as premium. However, vis-a-vis mobile phones Sony is not quite up there (yet?).

Just like Nokia which is trying to make a comeback, hopefully Sony can succeed.

actually i have no problem wit wateva brand. in fact i love to c a lot of things with different style from each brand. baack during early 2000 when i was a teenager, no one bash each other for wateva phone brand they hav. this fanboyism started since iphone was launched. since then we have ifag, then come androidfag, then androidfag split into many more fag like samsungfag, nexusfag, sonyfag, etc. windows user not so fag yet, tho there r some nokia fag around.

To each their own. Nothing to do with microscopic eyes.

Just like how some people can tell the difference between a good DAC and a good set of cans, and wouldn't use otherwise, while others will be happy with the stock iPod ear buds.

I had the Xperia S, was given a SIII by my boss (he's an Apple user, he got it as a gift and didn't bothered trying it, lol), and I immediately noticed the difference. You'll notice it when you're reading webpages, typing out emails and all. The fonts will all be blurry and giving the illusion of low contrast. When the Acro S came out I immediately sold the SIII for that.

Agreed, your comment made me laugh. No idea what they were thinking there, perhaps being Korean they were unable to get the proper expression out. Designed for Humans is kinda lame. Their key demographic is humans, I doubt they were trying to sell to simians and the like.

I'm glad Sony's making a comeback here. The SE merge served it's purpose, but they can do better now.

right, when i first see galaxy s lll, i immediately notice the color difference, even my xperia p with only qHD is better for me.

My colleagues at work keep asking me to get the HTC One when it comes out, told them it's the ugliest phone I've ever seen (IMHO). I can understand that others love it, but they need to stop forcing their opinions on others.

guess either i am blind or i just don pay much attentin/ don care bout the s3 display all diz while. i never notice the difference, i tout the display was super nice until i read many negative comments bout it. when i bought this s3 phone for my wife, i only know than amoled screen a very rich color. i never really play or touch the phone as i kinda hv grudge wit it, well i wanted to buy a sony phone for my wife but she insisted want a s3, made me mad even more

Again, to each their own. People have different preference. Some prefer more bass with their music, others likes clarity. Some loves the sound-stage.

I do photo editing/processing and therefore I have my LCD monitor's colour settings calibrated. I always cringed whenever I transfer the photos to the SIII.

If it doesn't affect you, by all means enjoy it. AMOLED have fantastic contrast. Unfortunately for me (and some others), we do notice it's flaws when it comes to colour accuracy.

That aside, Sony's screens are not the best as well. Personally it's a step better than the AMOLED, but still, it leaves room to desire.

i wonder why they themselves don buy it when it came out. wait, i think i know the answer, they r waiting for the samsung galaxy s4. well too bad for them i would say the next best thing is already here, it was the xperia z well mayb not the best, but definitely the sexiest

its funny tho when i met few people saying sony phone sux bla bla bla, then i found out they r only using a low end samsung or a cheap china phone (non branded type).

Same,people now born in this generation are very lucky,I only got a smartphone last year!some 7 years old kid already have iPhone and iPad,always comparing with each other,one of my class mate even challenge me that iPad 2 is faster than nexus 7(I already know I win lol),he bet with me RM50,IMMEDIATELY I said OK,after I win in many terms,now 1 month already and never pay me yet,so I decided to let go of the iFag,there's a lot of people out there,I won't compare with them unless they money bet with me
