that's because nobody expects the HTC to be perfect. it is all about expectations. they have a very bad run for their camera up until the one X. as for Sony a lot of people are wondering a lot of their camera when they are a major player with the α in the dslr market

night shot : i think it is xperia z at 2:02, whn u over expose at the other end

Details : it is also xperia z, as they always refocus, n u will notice sharper tree n plants

smoothness : i will give it to iphone 5, bcauz xperia z always refocus whn u r moving,
but in iphone 5 u will notice huge exposure change whn u r moving around (slow exposure detection)
but still xperia z refocusing will disturb the users much more

colour reproduction : i think tis will depends on the users preference,
if me i will focus more on the colour depth more, which both of them suk
but nothing much can expect from a phone tat use a small camera sensor

i think exmor r is quite good still can compete with exmor rs in normal lightning condition
whn shooting in normal camera mode, excluding HDR & scenery mode in xperia z

yup, which can fixed easily, bcauz it is calculated digitally

there is one thing holding me back to choose this

sony officially stated xperia z supports up to 32GB microsd

and there are ppl report 64GB is supported by formatting the microsd into FAT32 format, Japan docomo version supports exfat format, sony jp got pay microsoft license for exfat

i wonder how's malaysia version xperia z?
