QUOTE(MUM @ Jun 4 2021, 03:51 PM) from their website usually, main letter already pre-printed in bulk, usually header, footer, general T&Cs, etchttps://www.kwsp.gov.my/-/clarification-reg...ividend-payment "We urge members to be cautious of misleading or unsubstantiated information received through social media platforms and refrain from circulating them. Members are advised to always verify the source and date of the information obtained." the press release date is older than the printed date..... they dont print whole letters and mail to you usually they print dates, address, name, etc which is personalized to the recipient |

QUOTE(yklooi @ Jun 4 2021, 03:58 PM) that's one way to dodepending on the mailer/letter design, they can insert "newsflash" or short notice or notes for urgent/ad-hoc basis this is why pre-printed material should not contain time-sensitive info considering epf so big, miscomms happen, mislooked their POSM, etc etc |

QUOTE(Ankle @ Feb 19 2022, 09:07 PM) no need get paranoid laanything electronics, anything is possible but give them the benefit of the doubt lor. they would have proper governance and policies on data security and retention. as a contributor, you can also periodiocally (monthly/yearly) download the eStatement from iAkaun. just keep them by your side for reference, safekeeping, etc This post has been edited by cybpsych: Feb 19 2022, 09:15 PM wongmunkeong liked this post

QUOTE(magika @ Feb 21 2022, 03:35 PM) Not too sure whether i posted it before. thanks for sharing! I am treating Epf as my my kitty bank ( retired) . So the most important aspect of it is that i must be able to withdraw whenever i need to painlessly. Its only this year that i realised Searching online and reading faq from epf regarding it even make me a bit unsure of the process. Whats mentioned is that if you did a physical withdrawal before then the next withdrwal done online is without hassle. However official sources says that you need the following steps to enable future hassle free online withdrawal. 1. Register for tac at epf booth. 2. Do a withdrawal online. 3. Wait for an email asking to be present at the couner for manual scanning of ic, fingerprints n bank account number. 4. Wait for approval n wait for money to be sent to bank. The next online withdrawal will be seamless then. However i am a stubborn person n always want to challenge things 1. I went to epf to register tac. If i did an online withdrawal then , i would have to wait dunno how long, maybe have to come back the next day to complete the first stage process. Not wishing to do that, i have other things to do that day also, i did the following step. 2. I immediately went to the counter n did a manual withdrawal of RM50.00. Upon geing queried by the counter on the reason so, i told her that its to facilitate future online withdrawal, it nearly went into a long argument. I think i handled it well , so the process went on smoothly. 3. The withdrawal was deposited in my bank the next day after 5pm. 4. I then did an online withdrawal and seamlessly the money was received by my bank the next day n time as well. So hoping my experience will help all retirees too . btw, what's the process to change bank account number? i guess only able to do at the counter.... |

QUOTE(magika @ Feb 21 2022, 03:59 PM) Changing account number means you have to repeat the whole counter experience. Its a safeguard. Its unlike sspn withdrawal where we specify the account numbet only upon doing the online withdrawal. Just a mention here, for Epf n Sspn also it must be in single name account holder n not joint account. agreed. tedious but better security to verify f2f. |
