CAN the 5.3 million Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contributors who have never withdrawn their savings through any withdrawal scheme to date humbly request for a special dividend rate next year as a reward for their astute financial discipline?

in general sense, no majorly impact, if any


we (contributors) get dividend from epf

epf get profit from their (re)investment

if epf need to liquidate asset to convert to $$ special epf withdrawal, it may impact our dividend in the end

if epf manage the fund carefully, there should be less to no impact to us.


but................ epf doesnt actually disclose how much of their investment profit flows back to contributors and shareholders (including epf and govt themselves) --- cmiiw, just my basic understanding lah


so, epf can say "economic not good", "pandemic", "china borders were closed back in 2022", etc etc

how much special epf withdrawal impacted our dividends, i guess nobody would know for a certain.
