Hi.
Anyone know if i apply for pengeluaran kematian now, is EPF gonna give me dividend for this year? I am thinking how they calculate the dividend as they haven declare the rate? Thanks
*
not sure got or not.

but when I did it, the officer asked me to withdraw after dividend has been declared, usually 2nd week of February. this is to smoothen the withdrawal process and not rugi the earned dividend.

however you can apply for khairat now.

*
probably due to long cny holiday week.

am expecting to announce by this weekend because epf site downtime until 16 Feb (Sat), so announcement could be on Sat. in the annoucenment, they inform contributors can check the next day, which could be 17 Feb (Sun) whereby epf site has been restored.

Guys, wanted to ask if my mom withdraw all my father's epf saving due to his death on October 2018, my father still entitled for the dividend? Anyone who experienced this please share.
*
yes still can earn dividend.

my experience, staff asked me to wait until dividend announcement before request to withdraw (due to death)

now, tricky part is nomination. if none, use a will. if none, epf will not release.

u need to follow due process to release the epf.

how if my dad's epf has nomination which is my mom? for the dividend part still need LA ?
*
no need lor. dividend is part of the final epf amount.

go straight to epf, the staff will check nomination status and verify your mom's nric (and other nominee's nric, if any). then only they disclose/print the final amount.

then fill in the form to withdraw. no questions to your mom as she is the nominee. if got other nominees, it will be disbursed according to ratio/split during nomination application)

also, you can get khairat /goodwill from epf (I think rm2.5k). it's part of the benefits.

Hello Frens,

Anyone using cimbclick to  voluntary deposit additional contribution to EPF /KWSP?
EPF paying 6.15%, very tempting to  add additional contrib.

Best date is to transfer on last day of the month in order to max out  dividend gain?
*
imo, transfer within 1st month of the year, or as early as possible.

*
sadly, no. your wife need to visit epf office/kiosk.

while you're there, might as well do the nomination together.

1 visit, do all the necessary.

But why do you need that rolling total anyways? You have the opening balance, total contributions and grand balance under Ringkasan Akaun.
That should be enough to serve its purpose. But if you want it for the purpose of calculating your dividend, then you will have to do your own spreadsheet for that.
Even with the previous version, I don't think you can just export the data out into .csv or some other spreadsheet readable format. You would still have to create your own spreadsheet.
*
doesnt matter.

some prefer it, some dont need it.

THE Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is expected to declare a lower dividend for 2019, with experts forecasting a distribution of between 5.5% and 6.15%, largely dragged by the poor performance of the local stock market.
