Higher 1-3 % on 10k doesn’t matter anyway, focus on ensuring that they can upskill these people to get jobs so the 10k increases instead. I don’t understand how they can even propose for amounts below 1m, at least give people the opportunity to fully exit the country so they can subsidize with their own non existent funds. wongmunkeong liked this post

Focus on increasing your income instead. That is within your power. Tiering incentivizes wrong mindset. QUOTE(Ramjade @ Feb 21 2022, 10:13 AM) Human Nature, romuluz777, and 1 other liked this post

It is precisely this mentality that has alienated investments to Malaysia.

QUOTE(dwRK @ Mar 6 2022, 08:10 AM) ppl usually don't suddenly have 60k.... anyways we were discussing limitations on the online compound interest calculator and how to go about managing its input.... lol I do 60k in January, never investigated if it affects the dividend differently but the amounts have been reflected properly. I suppose I would get 11/12 of % for that or according to a daily interest calculation - anyone knows? |

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Mar 7 2022, 03:16 PM) I did 80% at one point, no issues. Any govt naturally wants more to save for retirement and this also does not affect the employer. This post has been edited by TheEquatorian: Mar 7 2022, 03:22 PM Wedchar2912 and ikanbilis liked this post

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Mar 7 2022, 03:23 PM) That is good to know. With FD so low. This is surely another investment avenue. Even for short term since i am already 60. Yes, as long as the institution remains free from political interference. I think it is a smart way to promote retirement savings among population, we have the same scheme where I am living now. |

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Mar 7 2022, 03:39 PM) Expenses can supported by dividends from other investments. Right now with FD at such lows, EPF can be used as a temporary shelter. Agreed, fully depends on your lifestyle and past savings culture. You may have alternative revenue streams.Nothing to hide form LHDN. |
