Advice pon tanak dengar..

You don't have to do it, listen his argument and analyze. It's not that hard. They might have a point to ponder.

it is always good to listen to their opinion. Sometime is wrong and sometime is right, but you need to evaluate..being bodoh sombong won't give you shiet..

at the gym that i go to, they prohibit dropping the weights. so its annoying when somone drop it. so if your gym have the same rule, then you should go complaint to the owner or management. As for posing half naked, just ignore them. when u get really ripped, then join them posing biggrin.gif

Just because they have a "one pack" doesn't mean their core isn't strong. So don't discard their advice just because of that. See if there is any truth in what they say, if it's bro-science then just ignore.

About them not doing cardio, some times it's a personal choice. Maybe not everyone wants a lean body. Cheers!

They do but some take bulking too far. Lol. With or without steroids, the amount of muscle lost doing an aggressive cut after an aggressive bulk kinda defeats the purpose. Look at people who stay reasonably lean all year round like Dan and jonh91. Even though bulking they don't let it go overboard.

1) Are they bigger than you?
2) Can they lift more than you?

If the answer to question 1) and 2) are both yes, then listen to them.

Erm, I'd listen to people who can lift better than me, then again, that is if I listen

Nothing wrong IMO.

As a matter of fact, exchanging of knowledge = helps us improve and evaluate ourselves.

People will naturally feel more comfortable to accept advices from ripped builders, but why diss those who can lift more than you when you are not even close to the elite/respectable level?

Once you reach the respectable level, IMO, you won't be bothered, not by the groaning sound, the weights dropping, the half naked-ness. No one would even bother advising you except for a few whom feel that you need to follow their regime to get as big as them which is pure BS.

Cardio doesn't mean ripped. I can run 10km every morning and lift for 5 hours every evening but if I consume 8000cal daily, I'm still gonna look like a fat ass.

Monday blues, I have to be, fun and ya, our very own favourite guy here, hates cardio tongue.gif *no homo

Brother. Not taking sides here. And no offense and with all due respect, I wouldn't listen to Big Show. Lol. It's a fat f***, i don't care how strong he is. I'd rather respect a natural competitor with single digit bf% and lifting elite numbers compared to a 300 plus pounder lifting elite poundages.

I don't disagree with your opinion. I too don't want to be too fat as well. tongue.gif

But you can't dismiss or laugh at those guys who get fat but can lift huuuuuuge weights. Especially if they are stronger than me. Especially if like TS I'm just a noob beginner. smile.gif

Very impressive. Respect to the man. Definitely elite pulling 5x bodyweight....

Here's something equally impressive. George Leeman pulling 864 deadlift.

This guy used to post on a forum I visited. He bulked up to 385lbs (obese level) as a teenager via chocolate milk, pizza and all kinds of junk but that enabled him to get the insane strength during his prime years. He lost most of the fat and is still strong as a bull...

if u refer to those big big muscles fella, i can 100% confirm no stamina, muscles too big too hard to move.

if u refer to those normal or moderate muscles fella then those probably with stamina.

Most gym goers who lift heavy "hate" to do cardio... They are not WRONG. They choose what they want in life. As for overall fitness, it's always a good idea to throw in a few sessions of cardio. I think I should hit the treadmill today tongue.gif

Also actually if you do a circuit weight lifting training, it's cardio vascular exercise as well smile.gif

I'm going to tell you in a civil manner. You're being very rude and provocative. Mikehuan was telling you in a nice way that it is not ethical to come into a subsection for a specific sport and and deliberately talking about that sport/hobby in a disparaging manner.

I wouldn't say you're an idiot yet, but you're just being stubborn and trying to save face by persisting in posting like this when everyone is clearly against you here. Look again at all your posts and tell me if you're being impolite or not.

Speaking about cardiovascular activities, there is this something that I can't stand when it comes to weight lifters.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

Put your weights back!

If you can lift that much, you can definitely put it BACK!

It helps people save time and more importantly, those are workouts! Can be considered as a mild cardio as well or what!

Totally agree.

Three types of people i hate the most:
(i) Not putting back weights plate or dumbbell back to the original place
(ii) Simply drop the dumbbell on the floor. (no wonder so many dumbbells go for repairing, don blame the owner of the gym, blame the users)
(iii) Please never remove all the weights plate on one side of barbell at one time, will cause the barbell fall on the other side. (Those nearby the barbell...KO)
